Plot

Plot[]

Laval is working on cleaning the Map Room inside the Lion Temple when Eris comes in and admires the room for how cool it is that they have a map to all of Chima, Laval however doesn't find much joy in doing chores so Eris suggests they go on a joyride through Chima and take Lagravis' Lion Tank while he is away. Unbeknownst to Laval and Eris, Cragger and Crooler watch them leave as Cragger tries yelling at them to let him come but Crooler uses the Persuader Plant and tells Cragger to focus on the task at hand while Laval and Eris are away. The two friends travel through the Sanctuary Forest and accidentally end up in the Falling Jungle due to Eris not telling him where to drive to, they end up driving into a creek and are pulled out by Gorzan in his Gorilla Striker and Laval begins to dig the tank out of the dirt.

Meanwhile, Lagravis, Longtooth and Leonidas are heading to the Rhino Quarry to set up a peace treaty with them so that there are no misunderstandings between the Lions and Rhinos, the Rhinos are busy smashing rocks when the Rhino Tribe Leader uses a CHI orb to smash a rock apart leading Longtooth to call that action the worst use of CHI ever but is ridiculed by Lagravis telling him that it's not their place to judge people on how they use their CHI. With Laval and Eris, they are making their way up Spiral Mountain where Eris names off some landmarks of Chima; the Shadow Hills, the Everglow Falls, HummingMoss Point and the Shredder Basin. At the Rhino Quarry, Lagravis breaks up what he thinks is a fight between Rukus and Runk but they are assure him they aren't mad at each other and go back to fighting while Lagravis remarks that the Rhinos are a strange tribe, Laval and Eris are on the top of Spiral Mountain looking at what can only be described as the "best sunset in all of Chima" when Lagravis' tank rolls off the mountain and crashes into the forest below so they head to the Beaver Dam to get it repaired and they meet Bezar, the leader of the Beavers, he has his Tribe repair the tank when he shows Laval and Eris that Cragger had the Beavers build a canal so that the CHI will go to the Crocodile Swamp so that the Lions and therefore the rest of Chima don't get their CHI.

Lagravis is still at the Rhino Quarry discussing the treaty with the Rhinos when the Lion distress roar is sent out and so Lagravis, Longtooth and Leonidas head back to the Lion Temple when the Wolves ambush them, after a close fight between the Lions and Wolves, Lagravis uses a CHI orb and defeats Worriz while scaring the rest of the Wolves in the process. At the canal, Laval and Eris convince the Beavers to tank their tank as they defeat Crawley and Crug before confronting Cragger and Crooler at the top of the canal, Laval faces Cragger and Eris faces Crooler, after a long and intense fight, Laval and Eris are victorious over Cragger and Crooler as they are successful in destroying the canal and restoring the CHI as it was before, but Laval is knocked out after Cragger tried using a CHI orb on him and Laval later found himself back in his room where Eris flies in and they both go to the Map Room to continue cleaning it, outside of the temple, Lagravis discovers his tank had been modified after the Beavers tinkered with it and thus roars Laval's name in anger after seeing his tank.

Trivia

Trivia[]

  • The plot of the episode seems to be inspired by concepts for the Outland Tribes, which were originally going to steal CHI from Mount Cavora by building a tunnel to reroute the CHI waters to their lair.
  • This marks the first appearance of the Defendor II, Defendor IIX, Defendor IV, and Huntor W3 Speedorz in the TV Series.
  • Eris states that she has never met the beavers herself before. This is quite jarring, as Eris is a Speedor racer, and beavers do usually participate in Chi Day races. Beaver spectators of the Speedor race are also shown in the flashback in "The Biggest Race Ever."

Errors[]

  • When Lagravis's Lion Tank rolls backwards and falls off the mountain, its undercarriages are seen turning the wrong way.
