Thunderfang's prison

The prison was the depths of the First Land, located directly beneath the Storm Village in the Storm Mountain. It's where Thunderfang was confined, bound by chains crafted from Prismatic Steel following his fight with the Arc Dragon of Focus.

Long Ago[]

Countless millennia ago, Thunderfang was defeated in battle by the Arc Dragon of Focus and imprisoned beneath the earth of the First Realm. Five chains formed of prismatic steel were crafted to shackle and bind the Storm Dragon, who was then left to lay defeated within his prison, stewing in the humility of his defeat and allowing his anger towards the Source Dragons to grow.

Dragons Rising, Season 3[]

Following the first post-Merge Tournament of the Sources, the newly released Forbidden Five set out to find and release Thunderfang from his prison, hoping that he would grant them greater power to crush their enemies. After many days of travel, the Five discovered the entrance to Thunderfang's prison within the Storm Village and entered it, encountering the Storm Dragon who would instruct the Five to obtain five Prismatic Blades to release him from his chains.

Over time, the Five would collect each Prismatic Blade, returning after each successful retrieval to cut apart each blade's corresponding chain. After freeing Thunderfang from the last chain however, the Chaos Dragon betrayed the Five and drained their souls, killing them and leaving their deceased bodies on the ground of his prison before escaping to seek his revenge.
