The Tree of Burdens is an ancient tree in Umbrasilvis that contained the red fragment of the Weapon of Desolation.

Years ago, the Tree of Burdens existed as part of the village of Umbrasilvis. The tree would be known to be the place where villagers could go to tie a ribbon to the tree, which symbolizes their worries, and hope that its branches would help alleviate the weight of their problems. At some point, the First Spinjitzu Master would hide the red fragment of the Weapon of Desolation within the trunk of the tree.[1]
The Grand Inquisition[]
Frak and Sora went to the Tree of Burdens to ambush the culprit that released the Mutation Monster. Sora recounted how a local mentioned that each ribbon tied to the tree symbolizes a worry, with the hope that the tree's branches would help alleviate the burden. Frak remarked that this might explain the tree's twisted and gnarled appearance. Suddenly, they heard footsteps and hid themselves behind a bush, discovering that the approaching figure was a Loyalist. As the Loyalist scanned the tree, he placed his hand on its core and retrieved a red fragment of the Weapon of Desolation. In a moment of impulsive recognition, Frak inadvertently revealed their hiding spot and dashed toward the Loyalist, believing him to be his father. The Loyalist attempted to escape, but Reginald tackled him, unmasking him as Johnny and causing the fragment to fall from his grasp, much to Frak's surprise. Seizing the fragment, which pulsed with Source Energy, Frak triggered a powerful Quake that resonated throughout the area. Reginald reassured him that everything would be okay and carefully took the fragment, wrapping it in a handkerchief gifted by the Pontifex Magicus before handing it to Sora, albeit with a moment of hesitation. The two then started to talk about their relationship, but ultimately, Frak pushed Reginald aside and departed with Sora to turn Johnny in, leaving Reginald feeling despondent.
