History[]

Background[]

Originally, the crystal ball was used by Wizards in Mysterium until, at some point, the Wolf warriors raided the realm and collected the ball, keeping it inside the Shadow Dojo. It was later given to Jordana by Ras so she could practice Theroxian magic.^[1]

Beyond the Phantasm Cave[]

Upon using the crystal ball to locate Bonzle in the Land of Lost Things, Jordana recognized her as the essential spell required for the Ritual of the Blood Moon. With the crystal ball in hand, she proceeded to Ras to inform him of her findings. Ras was surprised by the growth in Jordana's dedication towards the mystical arts, as evidenced by her successful use of the crystal ball to further their quest.

Force From the East[]

Jordana used her crystal ball to observe and track Bonzle's movements and location when the Wolf Clan invaded the Land of Lost Things in order to capture her.

The Spell at the Waterfall[]

The crystal ball was placed atop a pedestal and was occasionally used as Jordana attempted to locate Bonzle.

Secrets of the Wyldness[]

After locating the ninja using her crystal ball, Jordana promptly informed Ras about them. However, she was uncertain about the duration she could maintain the image within the mystical orb. Concerned that the ninja would disrupt the Ritual of the Blood Moon at the Shadow Dojo, Ras urged Jordana to take immediate action to thwart their plans. Despite Jordana's initial concern regarding the distance and her ability to wield Theroxian magic effectively, she managed to conjure a powerful storm through the crystal ball, ultimately causing the Destiny's Bounty to crash, what brought the ninja in trouble.

Elements of Betrayal[]

While possessing Jordana, Rox used the crystal ball to preform a static spell to freeze Zane, Nya and Cole. Jordana kept briefly trying to fight Rox’s possession, but the latter regained control. However, eventually, Nokt freed the Forbidden Five, and Rox’s soul left Jordana’s body and returned to her own. Once Jordana was freed from Rox’s possession, she cancelled the static spell the latter had cast on the ninja.

Trivia[]

• The crystal ball is similar to Vex's crystal, as both items were used by their respective owners to observe people.
• It is the first crystal ball which appears in the second season of Dragons Rising. the other one is the crystal ball of the sorceress Gandalaria from Mysterium, which has different abilities to Jordana's.
• The crystal ball could have been stolen from the Crystal Ball Repair Store.
