Temple Thieves!
Temple Thieves![]
After the Tournament of the Sources, Frak was demonstrating to the ninja how he channels his anger into his fighting techniques. Lloyd told Frak that he needs to find a balance between his anger and inner peace to use all his abilities. Meanwhile, Wyldfyre was expressing her frustration to Kai, mentioning that she's heard the same advice countless times and is eager to change. In response, Kai reminds her that a ninja never quits, which also includes training. Wyldfyre insists that they should focus on finding Lord Ras and the Forbidden Five. Kai acknowledged her point, and just then, Wyldfyre exclaims in surprise, asking what is happening. After leaving the monastery doors, Kai and Wyldfyre saw a mysterious dragon. After talking with him, Wyldfyre realized that this is Roby's dragon messenger, and the City of Temples needs help.
After the two ninja got to the place on Heatwave, Roby explained to them why the Temple City is in trouble. Before the Merge, the City of Temples was appearing in another realm only to host the tournament, but now it is stuck on the same place, which led to a large influx of tourists and proportionally, a large amount of robbers. After Kai asked why the Security Bots can't stop them, Roby answered that because of the big number of visitors, Gerard Gearhead also took a vacation, which led to the bots being ineffective.
Suddenly, one of the bots reported that the robbers are currently stealing the Elemental Cup and the Book of Ceremonies. During the ninja's chase after the robbers, which Wyldfyre considered as the best training, the henchmen's truck fell from the elevator to the Dragon Stone Shrine, after which Kai and Wyldfyre returned the artifacts to Roby.

Trivia
Trivia[]
- Roby's dragon messenger has a similar appearance as the Djinjagan Dragons.
- The background characters in the comic are very similar to the ones seen in "First Try!":
- Both include the Sushimi Chef.
- Both include walking skeletons who do not look like the Skulkin.
- Both include strange Anacondrai with the head of Snake warriors.
- One of the temple thieves resembles a Munce with yellow skin. This is either an error, or a possible hybrid similar to Geo.
Errors[]
- When the thieves read the Book of Ceremonies, it mentioned that the Elemental Cup can only be used during the Tournament of the Sources and only if the Elemental Master is defeated in a duel. However, in the show, Roby was able to seize Nokt's powers despite Nokt having defeated Kai. Furthermore, in "I Alone Can Save Them," Roby attempted to take Kur's powers with the Elemental Cup, which took place weeks after the tournament.
- However, this can be considered as a dialogue error, not a plothole, as the thieves couldn't use the cup either way because only Games Master can use it, which was confirmed in "Elements of Betrayal."
- It is also possible that the thieves misinterpreted the statement from the book, as it is likely that the usage of the cup outside of the tournament is not allowed by the rules, but can be possible.
