Monsters vs Dragons!

Airway to Imperium[]

Shortly after completing the Ritual of Unrooting and discovering the true powers of the Green Ninja, Lloyd sensed an evil presence gathering outside the gates of the City of Imperium. Lloyd now soared through the clouds, racing towards the city while Zane, Euphrasia, and Arin trailed from behind in the former's helicopter.

Just as the three in the helicopter began catching up with Lloyd, they were attacked by a Fire Dragon and a Lightning Dragon. Lloyd caught sight of his allies trouble, but before he could provide assistance, the Lightning Dragon stopped him, leading Lloyd to realize that the dragons had mistaken the others for a group of Dragon Hunters in pursuit of him! After an initial attempt to establish telepathic communication with the dragons failed, Lloyd called upon Euphrasia to use her power of Wind to fly towards him so that they could show the dragons that the helicopter's occupants were his friends. This plan succeeded and the dragons ceased their attack.

Shortly thereafter, Lloyd communicated telepathically with the dragons, introducing himself as the Master of Life and explaining his connection to all living things. He explained to the dragons the disturbance he had sensed in Imperium, and both dragons agreed to accompany him. After a long flight, the city of Imperium emerged on the horizon and Lloyd briefly recalled the battle against Empress Beatrix some years ago. He was soon snapped back to reality after facing an attack from the Elemental Monsters on the ground, forcing him and his allies to briefly divert their attention.

The heroes began fighting the monsters, separating them so that Lloyd could finish them off. As they drew closer to the city, however, Zane pointed out that the hordes of monsters only grew ever larger. In fact, the monsters were so numerous now that the two dragons were overwhelmed! Unable to risk harming their allies, Euphrasia, Arin, and Zane worked together to divide up and distract the monsters so that Lloyd could more easily return them to their energy states. Within ten minutes, all but the Mutation Monsters constricting the dragons had been defeated, though they too were soon defeated by Lloyd. With the dragons freed, Lloyd thanked them for their assistance but urged them to return home, for only greater dangers lay ahead at the city of Imperium.

With that, the ninja and the dragons parted ways, and the ninja rushed onward to face the siege that awaited them.
