The Whispering Wood[]

After the Source Dragons of Focus, Life, and Strength left the Council of Sources, two Elemental Monsters emerged from the Sanctuary of the Seven Sources, one of which was an Acid Monster, which was created when the disrupted Source Energy mingled with the water pooled at the altar, transforming it into a corrosive acid. As the Acid Monster took form, it was soon joined by an Earth Monster, and together, they attacked two Source Dragon acolytes as the Chief Loyalist watched.

Eventually, the Acid and Earth Monsters attacked a few Treewoks. However, Lloyd, Arin, and Euphrasia arrived just in time. As the Acid Monster unleashed a torrent of acid towards Arin, he swiftly countered with his Spinjitzu, successfully deflecting the attack. However, the Acid Monster quickly turned its attention back to the Treewoks, prompting Euphrasia to leap into action and protect them. Meanwhile, as the Acid and Earth Monsters closed in on Lloyd, Arin attempted to use Object Spinjitzu by hurling a stick infused with his Spinjitzu energy at the Acid Monster, but the creature's acidic body dissolved the stick upon contact. Euphrasia also tried to shoot arrows at the Acid Monster, only to see them disintegrate as they struck. After the Earth Monster immobilized Lloyd, the Acid Monster joined it in preparing to attack Arin and Euphrasia. However, after being fueled by Life from a tree, Lloyd broke free. This allowed both him and Euphrasia to regain control of their Elemental Powers. Euphrasia then unleashed her Wind abilities on the Acid Monster, ultimately defeating it and reducing it to its energy state.

Acidokinesis - Acid Monsters can manipulate acid in many ways.
- Acidogenesis - Acid Monsters can generate acid.
- Acidokinetic Attacks - Acid Monsters can attack with acid.
  - Acidokinetic Breath - Acid Monsters can shoot acid from their mouths.
  - Acidokinetic Ball Projection - Acid Monsters can shoot balls of acid.
  - Acidokinetic Beam Emission - Acid Monsters can shoot concentrated beams of acid.
- Acidokinetic Body - Acid Monsters' bodies are seemingly made of acid, causing anything that hits them to dissolve.
- Melting - Acid Monsters' acid can liquify solid objects and matter like wood on contact.

Trivia[]

Their appearance resembles Anacondrai. However, Acid Monsters aren't Serpentine.
In a set interview, the Acid Monsters were referred to as "Acid Snakes,"^[1] while concept art labeled them as "Acid Water Monsters."^[2]
