For CHIMA!

For CHIMA! is the twentieth and final episode of the first season of Legends of Chima.

Plot

Plot[]

The Crocodiles, Rhinos, Ravens and Wolves begin their attack as Laval and Eris are running back to the Lion Temple, a Wolf is about to take out the two of them when Gorzan comes in to save them, he gives Laval and Eris a CHI orb each and Laval sends out a Lion distress roar to the Eagles, Gorillas and the Bears to help but the Bears don't come right away. Laval watches the battle when ShadoWind shows up and Laval wonders why he is there, Cragger then orders his army to CHI up and they start attacking the Lions and sending them flying against the walls and Rogon landing in front of Eris. Cragger then says to finish their attack and gets in his Helicrocter to find Laval who jumps him and orders Longtooth to lock down the temple but Cragger is able to throw a spear into the gears stopping the bridge from retracting.

Cragger then tells Laval that no one is coming to help as the Eagles are occupied with the Ravens and the Gorillas aren't going to make it as the Rhinos trip them up. Laval and Cragger fight and Laval gets his cape ruined when the blades of the Helicrocter nearly cut him down, They continue their fight and Laval asks how long they are going to fight like this to which Cragger says until he destroys him, he is able to back Laval into the Helicrocter's blades shredding away at his cape but the spear at the bridge lever breaks and the bridge starts retracting again, Laval however falls off as he jumps to avoid Cragger's tail swipes but is able to hold on at the edge, Laval is able to block Cragger's strikes and he is about to lose when the teeth of the temple knocks Cragger off and causing the two of them to fall, Cragger then flashes back to when they were friends and they sparred together, went on Speedor races and played at the Forever Rock, Laval then grabs Cragger and tosses him in front of him to back his fall, as Laval lays on the ground dying, Cragger asks him why he did that and Laval says he did it to save his old friend, Cragger then starts begging Laval to stay with him and to not die but Laval gives his final words to Cragger being to protect Chima for him and to always have hope.

Lagravis then comes across the body of his now deceased son, he goes up to Laval's body trying to wake him but he doesn't respond and he screams out his name. Worriz then asks what the plan is now and Crawley says that Cragger needs to do something first, he makes it back into the Lion Temple and goes to Laval's room when he sees what appears to be his body covered up by a blanket. Cragger then starts crying and says to Laval he is so so sorry for everything and that Laval was only ever trying to help him, but all Cragger did was want power, to rule Chima, to have all the CHI for himself and fulfill his destiny but he realizes that all he ever really needed was his best friend, more than anything else. Lagravis then declares that their enemies will pay for getting Laval killed and order his tribe to CHI up so they can avenge Laval, so they, along with Eris and Rogon attack the opposing tribes but are easily defeated, Lagravis then makes a stand but is also defeated. Cragger watches from the window of Laval's room and says this isn't what his destiny was meant to be and wishes he could take it all back, he then tries to wake up Laval but when he pulls off the blanket he sees that Sir Punchalot is there and reads the note on him, Laval is not dead and survived the fall with Cragger, but he asks how since he saw him but then Cragger flashes back to when he had his sparring lesson with Laval and realizes he faked his death like he played dead before, Laval said in the note he did it so he can do what he needed to do to save Chima and that they is always hope to which Cragger agrees and hopes Laval is out there looking for that hope.

Worriz then says it's hopeless and that the Lions lost but Lagravis says this isn't over yet as help is on the way, but it's not the Gorillas, or the Bears or the Eagles but instead of a whole tribe, they realize that the Crocodile Legend Beast had arrived but Lagravis thought it was the Lion Legend Beast, Laval is riding on it into battle when someone else reveals their presence. Turns out Crunket and therefore Crominus, survived their fall in the Gorge of Eternal Depth but Crunket was the only one able to get back, Laval explained that ShadoWind pointed him in the right direction, the Legend Beast was on the other side of the creek in the Outlands in some kind of trap so the two of them used a rope to get the Legend Beast free and that's when Crunket was seen passed out on top of the Legend Beast, then ShadoWind said two words before he left "For Chima!" and that's how they found the Legend Beast and Queen Crunket.

Crunket then says there are evil tribes out there in the Outlands and mentions the Black Cloud which has come for Mount Cavora, Worriz points that it's a bit late to warn them, but Crunket says they only stopped the CHI falls but they will be back for the rest of the CHI and that the Legend Beasts can't help as these tribes captured the rest of them. She then demands they band together to save the Legend Beasts so they can fight back against these tribes and save Chima but most importantly, Cragger's father; Crominus who is also captured. Cragger then asks how the two of them survived the Gorge of Eternal Depth and Crunket says when they fell, the gorge broke their fall as it has its own gravity and there are tunnels down there that lead to the Outlands, which explains how they got out. That is where these evil tribes are now and if they don't defeat them, Chima will be lost forever.

Laval is at the Forever Rock thinking about the next day when Cragger shows up, they talk about their big mission the next day and Laval promises to find the Legend Beasts and Crominus, Cragger then thanks Laval for not being dead but also finding his mother and their Legend Beast, Eris then shows up with the other tribes and discuss the mission, although they all had their differences, they must band together to rescue the Legend Beasts and save Chima and that while they may disagree during the mission, all their big decisions must be done as a group and they all chant "For Chima!" then Laval does the banana on a Crocodile's tail trick one last time before the mission, the Black Cloud then appears again and zips past them into the night.

  • This is the first time a lion is shown without their headgear.
  • This is ShadoWind's first time speaking.
  • The music when Laval and Cragger fall (and later when Cragger enters Laval's room), was never officially released.

Continuity[]

  • At the end of the episode, Laval does the "Banana on crocodile tail" trick, when all of the 8 heroes are in the Forever Rock, just like in the first episode.

Errors[]

  • When Laval talks at the end, he blinks but his pupils stay visible.
  • When Worriz is walking over to Crawley, A second model of Worriz can be seen in the background.
  • When Bladvic is looking at Queen Crunket his eyes are mussing from his face, perhaps he was sleep focusing.
