Dom de la Woosh

History[]

Background[]

At some point in time, Dom de la Woosh started racing in the monthly Speedor races, eventually becoming the most famous Speedor racer in all of Chima and even getting his own merch. During his prime, most of the inhabitants of Chima, including Laval, Cragger and Eris, became fans of him, Laval and Cragger even often racing to see who will be "the better Woosh". However, Woosh eventually retired from racing.

Shortly before the next Speedor race, Cragger got in touch with Woosh thanks to Plovar, asking him to join the race to distract the racers so he can win. Missing his fans, Woosh was convinced by Cragger's deal and agreed to help him.

The Power of the Chi[]

The Biggest Race Ever[]

Woosh arrived in the Grand Arena just before the monthly Speedor race, waving at his fans and signing their stuff. Upon seeing Woosh, Equila asked him if he has few words to his fans, which in response Woosh thanked them and said he loves them all.

Then, Woosh went to the Grand Arena with his Speedor, encountering Plovar on the way, who wanted to clean his teeth, only for him to show that his teeth are already clean, much to Plovar's surprise. Upon arriving in the arena, Dom de la Woosh interacted with Gorzan and Eris, even signing the latter's wing. However, as Eris was showing Laval her wing, Laval noticed that Woosh is shaking hand with Cragger, getting suspicious of both of them while wished that he was Woosh's friend too. Then, the monthly Speedor race started, causing Woosh and other racers to start racing. During the race, Woosh quickly got ahead of everyone, impressing the other racers. However, Laval eventually got closer to Woosh, only for the audience and Equila to focus on Woosh. Further into the race, Woosh passed Biters safely, who were released into the water by Crawley and Crug. Eventually, both Laval and Cragger passed Woosh, much to his surprise. However, after passing the one of the caves and getting a Chi, Woosh got ahead of Laval and Cragger again, only for them to pass him again while he was focusing on his mirror. Eventually, ShadoWind arrived and won the race by passing Woosh and Cragger, who were racing against each other. Despite ShadoWind winning the race, the audience and Equila focused on Woosh, who came in third, much to Cragger's anger.

While Laval and Eris were going back to the Lion Temple after talking to Cragger, they run into Woosh, who was looking saddened. Then, Woosh explained them the reason why he joined the race was because Cragger convinced him to, saying he regrets it. Laval asked him then why he do it, which in response Woosh said he missed the fans, saying how he felt "the Woosh" when he heard the cheers again. Upon hearing this, Laval got angry at Cragger doing this while Woosh praised him for racing effort today and says he would win if it weren't for the ShadoWind, saying he is one of the best riders he has seen. Then, Woosh leaved as he told them retirement is waiting for him.

Ravens vs Eagles[]

While Laval and Cragger were racing with their friends, Dom de la Woosh joined them and got ahead of everyone, much to their enjoyment. While they were continuing to race, ShadoWind arrived, who was given the lead by Woosh. Upon getting the lead, ShadoWind led the team to the Spiral Mountain, where the team was amused by the beauty of the Mount Cavora, deciding to relax for the rest of the day there, including Woosh. While they were continuing to relax, Razar and Eris fell from the sky, much to their surprise. Then they also joined their friends to relax with them.

Legend of the Fire Chi[]

Fired Up![]

Dom de la Woosh arrived at a flower hilltop with his Speedor, finding a flower for it and saying that it's his "true love". However, while he was kissing his Speedor, he was frozen by the Hunters, who just happened to be passing by underground. Seeing this, Stealthor gave report to Fangar, saying there is a strange bird who is kissing his Speedor and giving it flowers. Upon hearing this, Fangar told Stealthor that they shall collect this "trophy" later.

Dom de la Woosh was brought to Fangar's trophy room in the Ice Fortress.

Woosh was present in Fangar's trophy room as frozen.

A Very Slippery Slope[]

Woosh was seen as frozen while Fangar was leaving his trophy room.

After finding the trophy room with Laval, Cragger and the others, Flinx uses his heat to release the imprisoned inhabitants of Chima, including Dom de la Woosh, who said even the ice can't contain his fame. Then, Woosh left the trophy room with the others and ran outside before the whole mountain melted. Later, Laval and the others returned the saved inhabitants back to their villages and Legend Beasts, including the Woosh.

The 9th Phoenix[]

After Flinx released his Speedor from ice, Dom de la Woosh celebrated by spending time with it.

Merry Chima Everyone![]

Dom de la Woosh was ice-skating during the celebrations.

Curseworld, Part II[]

Dom de la Woosh and his friends were enjoying a relaxing day before being interrupted by Morro and Lloyd, who fell into the area from a portal. He then glanced the others before Morro opened another portal, with both him and Lloyd falling in.

Etymology[]

The name Dom de la Woosh has roots partially from Spanish and Portuguese. In Brazil, "Dom," is often referred to as an emperor or some kind of royalty.

Trivia[]

• Woosh is one of the few characters whose name doesn't start with the first syllable of their species.
• His character may be stylized to resemble a 50's-era auto-racer, as he returns in "The Biggest Race Ever" after years of disappearance.
• He has a Hispanic accent, along with his own little theme that plays when a scene focuses on him.
• He is in love with his Speedor, despite having a lover.
• When Laval and Cragger were younger, they both attempted to be "the better Woosh".
• The footage of Dom de la Woosh in "Curseworld, Part II" is footage taken from Legends of Chima's fifteenth episode "Ravens vs Eagles."
• Dom's head shape is based on the ravens's head but smaller.
