Ravens vs Eagles

Ravens vs. Eagles is the fifteenth episode of the first season of Legends of Chima.

Plot

Plot[]

At the Eagle Spire, Eris is drawing in her diary of her and Rogon in a heart, implying that she now has a crush on him, Razar at Raven Town is also drawing in his diary but of gold and gems, at the same time a Speedor race is happening inside the bootleg Grand Arena when Eglor gets junk thrown onto his Speedor, Razar points out how that's Eris' Speedor but Eglor tells him that it's technically not hers as it's Eagle Spire property which Razar laughs at, but he realizes Eglor is being serious and asks if anyone is rich or high up in the ranks but Eglor says that the Eagles don't think like that, he says the Eagle Spire is a utopia and that everyone is equal to each other and private ownership is strictly forbidden, Razar is stunned by this and Eglor then says their tribe is extremely fair and they share everything, he then also says that what's yours is theirs and vice versa. Razar then asks if this applies to the other tribes but Eglor doesn't know since no one ever really visits the Eagle Spire so he doesn't know for sure and drives away, the Ravens they start making their way to the Eagle Spire.

Laval then enters the Crocodile Fortress for the first time in a while and points that out to Cragger, he asks Laval if it's cozy to which he hesitantly nodded yes, but he then says the important thing is that they are friends again and decide to have a friendly race through the swamp. Crooler in the meantime is trying to grow more Persuader Plants to use on Cragger but her lucks wears thin so she heads to Gorzan who she thinks can get her plants to grow, when Gorzan sees her he is immediately hostile and refuses service to Crooler. G'Loona reminds her that the last time she helped, G'Loona was kidnapped and left outside at the Forever Rock during the night of the Hundred Year Moon when the Wolves attacked, Crooler says she turned over a new stalk and tries to get the Gorillas to help her but they head back inside to talk.

The Ravens then storm into the Eagle Library to which Ewald asks what they want and Razar says he would like to speak to the owner of the building but Ewald says that no one really owns the library as it's for everyone, the Ravens then start taking over as they are everyone too and says they are there to get their stuff back. Meanwhile, Laval and Cragger finish their race in the swamp where both claim victory but laugh it off as a tie, Cragger offers to do another race but Laval suggests a Speedor ride instead, along the way some of the other tribes join in on the ride and Chima seems to be peaceful. But chaos erupts at the Eagle Spire as the Ravens are still in the library and Eris walks in who tells them that stuff doesn't belong to them but Razar requests a look at the rule book so he doesn't break anymore of them, but this causes Eris to stutter and says they aren't exactly written down and that everyone knows the rules, Razar uses this by saying he is everyone too and according to him, he isn't breaking any rules. Crooler is still trying to get help from the Gorillas and she threatens to burn the plant which upsets Gorzan but Grumlo tells him to embrace the Mellow and that the Croc wants to upset him, Crooler sees this and throws the plant into the fire burning up and upsetting Gorzan but the mist they comes from the plant spills out thanks to the fire, Crooler sees this and says she is going to lay down now, in her sleep, the mist is affecting her mind which leads her to realizing her true purpose is to rule Chima and destroy them all but the Gorillas are just laughing at her movements, just then the other tribes show up and Cragger asks Crooler if she is okay to which she doesn't respond, the group just ignores her and continue their joy ride with Gorzan now joining them, Crooler then wakes up and asks what happened while the Gorillas continue to laugh.

Eris attempts to stop the Ravens from taking off with their stuff and orders Razar to drop it, he listens but he and the Ravens drop their stuff off the Eagle Spire, the Ravens down on the grass catch the stuff Razar dropped, Eris then tries to shoot down Razar but two Gliders grab her Interceptor Jet wings and toss her away. The Eagles then strike back and attack the Ravens, they are able to defeat them but trouble strikes when the Ravens land back on the Eagle Spire claiming that they are retreating to their new home which terrifies Eris as her diary is in there. Laval and Cragger are cruising with the others when Dom de la Woosh shows up and decides to join in on their joy ride, they then cruise pass the Lion Temple to which Lagravis questions what those kids are doing. The Ravens are setting up shop in the Eagle library while the Eagles discuss what to do as they are worried about their belongings, Eris thinks they can defeat the Ravens by exploiting the one thing they can't control, Razar is digging through stuff when he finds Eris' diary and takes it.

Eris then knocks on the door and Razar opens it, she spots her diary sitting on a table, she then says since everything belongs to everyone up there, the Eagles never engage in economic activity and that buying stuff in the Eagle Spire is not needed or allowed, she says it's in the rule which everyone knows, Razar is stunned but goes with it as he is everyone too and slams the door shut asking Razcal how the Eagles live like that, Razar suggests to bring in some new suckers but Razcal asks how as no one comes up to the Eagle Spire and the only ones there are Eagles who don't believe in shopping. Eris knocks again and asks if they can use the racetrack at the Raven Town, Razar says she has to pay first but she says they will pay when they are down there, or will they? Razar says access to their track is not free but Eris asks how he will know what goes on down there if he is up there? Eris then leaves the library but Razar is telling her to stop.

The other tribes are in the middle of their ride when ShadoWind shows up, Dom de la Woosh then gives him the lead and the tribes ride up the Spiral Mountain to which ShadoWind makes a jump to the other side of the mountain, Laval and Cragger are figuring out how to do that with the others but the sun in Chima is setting so they decide to watch it. Razcal and the Ravens then announce to Razar that they are heading back to Raven Town as they miss it there, but Razar tries to get them to stay by bringing up the Eagles' stuff and says they can sell it. Ripnik is down near the Grand Archway trying to sell the Eagles' stuff but is unsuccessful and then Crooler show up claiming she had the strangest day and brings up the plant and the fog, Ripnik then leaves and gives up some of the stuff to Crooler if she wants it but she comes across a book about exotic plants in Chima which could help her with her Persuader Plants. The Ravens then return to Raven Town and the racetrack where the Eagles are racing and hopes Razar is coming soon.

Razar is still at the Eagle Spire hoping to make a profit but Eris tells him to go home since the other Ravens already went back home, but he then pulls out her diary and tells her that if she wants it back she will have to pay, but Eris instead tries to take it by force and thus a fight between the two of them breaks out, she throws books at him and he is able to dodge them and escape but not before Eris gives chase. At the Spiral Mountain the tribes are watching the sunset and Plovar is pecking Cragger's teeth, Laval then suggests they make a Best Friends Forever Treaty of Peace which everyone agrees to and Cragger says they can make that happen next week. They tribes continue to watch the sunset and wish Eris and Razar would show up but their wish is granted as when the two are fighting over the diary they fall out of the Raider and crash down behind the other tribes, Laval then asks them where did they come up and Cragger says they were just talking about them, realizing how awkward this is, Razar ends up giving Eris her diary because but under the condition that she never speaks of the Ravens failing to secure the Eagle Spire since it's a embarrassing for a Raven to not make a profit, Eris agrees but only if the Ravens never come for the Eagles again, the two shake hands and Rogon notices the diary, he asks what it is but Eris says it's nothing and Razar backs her up by saying it's just doodles and that he wouldn't be interested, the two then join the others in watching the greatest sunset even in all of Chima.

  • The footage of when Eris and Razar crash down behind the other tribes was later reused in the Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu episode "Curseworld, Part II" when Lloyd and Morro of that series entered their land while fighting for the Realm Crystal. In that version, the scene freezes after Laval asks them "Hey, where did you guys come from?" before the two went back to Ninjago.
  • This is the first time Bladvic has his helmet off.
  • The title of the episode can be misread as the real life football games between the Baltimore Ravens and the Philadelphia Eagles.

  • Even though Crooler threw the dead Persuader Plantling in the fire, she is still able to pick it up from the fire, looking completely unharmed. Even though it should have burned to ashes.
