“I'd let you use mine, but it got trashed on our way up here. Bleckt told me they dumped it in their junkyard.”

The Explorer,^[2] also known as the Off-Road Buggy,^[3] was a buggy that previously belonged to Jordana. Following the Ritual of the Blood Moon, Arin became the new owner of the buggy until Bleckt had it thrown in to the City of Temples' junkyard.

The Forest of Spirits[]

Jordana rode the buggy to track down Bonzle, the living spell, to use her to open a portal to the Nether-Space to release the Forbidden Five. She tracked the spell to a Magical storagehouse in the Wyldness. After capturing Bonzle and trapping Cole, Zane, and Gandalaria in an Imperium electro-wall, she went outside and put the Protective container on the buggy.

As she drove back to the Shadow Dojo, she drove pass Arin and Riyu, who caught up to her. Despite putting up a fight against Arin, Riyu threw her out and she was force to run back to the dojo and report her failure to Lord Ras, who went after the spell himself. After defeating Arin and Riyu, he drove the buggy back to the dojo.

The Shape of Motion[]

Arin and Sora used the buggy while on a quest to find the former's parents in the Land of Madness. They stopped the buggy upon seeing the matriarch from the Land of the Three Mountains lying weakly on the ground.

Enter the City of Temples[]

Arin rode the buggy when the Ninja arrive to the entrance of the City of Temples. After Bleckt did not permitted them to enter the city, Arin used the buggy to hook onto the elevator that Kizzy is riding up in. Arin used his Grapple Gun when climbing up to enter the Tournament of the Sources. He used it to grab onto a Security Bot but got separated from the group.

The ninja had difficulty finding a vehicle for the Cavern Run. Arin offered the Explorer, but it was damaged and thrown into the junkyard.

Trivia[]

The buggy is the second vehicle that wasn't originally Arin's, but was owned by an antagonist before Arin used it. The first was the Dragon Mech.
Just like the Super Storm Jet, this was likely hidden in the Wyldness by Ras as a contingency.
