The Legend Thief[]
The Heroes of Chima learn that Lavertus was actually ShadoWind, and they sought his help to save the remaining Legend Beasts, but he declined. Laval then suggested a wager: if they could beat Lavertus in a Speedor race, he must help them. Lavertus agreed, and Laval started the race on Defendor XII. Instead of racing alone, Laval created a team strategy, allowing the heroes to switch drivers throughout the race to use their unique skills. Laval began, then passed the Speedor to Eris, followed by Gorzan, Bladvic, Cragger, and Rogon, before Laval took the lead again. They finish first, winning against Lavertus. Although Lavertus claimed they cheated, Laval and Worriz pointed out that the rules said nothing about midway substitutions since it never been done before.
After the race, Lavertus honored the bet and joined the team to rescue the Raven Legend Beast from the Scorpions. During the mission, Laval used Defendor XII again as they navigate the Scorpion Cave with Razar, using their Speedorz to bypass defenses. Razar eventually freeed the Raven Legend Beast by encasing the Scorpions in gold paint, allowing the heroes to defeat the Scorpions and escape the cave on their Speedorz.
