Lava Dragons[1][2] are a group of families of the Fire Dragon Tribe that reside in the Lava Wastes in the Wyldness.

- Dermo-Chromokinesis - Depending on their mood, Lava Dragons have the ability to alter the color of their scales, transitioning seamlessly between red and orange: red when calm and passive, and orange when aggressive or on edge. In the case of the latter, a small frill also unfolds behind their head.
- Fire - Lava Dragons have control over the Fire element.
- Pyrokinetic Breath - Lava Dragons can breathe and shoot fire blasts from their mouth.
- Magma Consumption - Lava Dragons are able to eat lava and use it for energy.
- Flight - Lava Dragons are capable of flying by flapping their wings, allowing them to travel great distances.
