The Battle of the City of Temples^[1] is a conflict that occurred in the City of Temples during its time in the Realm of Oni and Dragons. Thunderfang aimed to annihilate the city and its people but was ultimately defeated by the Arc Dragon of Focus.

After the War of Oni and Dragon, Thunderfang believed that his war victories gave him the right to ascend as a Source Dragon. However, his aspirations were met with constant rejection from the Source Dragons, who considered him unworthy of such a title. Frustrated and consumed by bitterness, Thunderfang's desire for revenge grew, leading him to plot the destruction of the realms.^[2] He aimed to gather enough souls to elevate himself to the status of a Source Dragon,^[3] intending to confront the very beings who had spurned him and claim their souls as retribution.^[4]^[5] In his first act of vengeance, Thunderfang unleashed the Winds of Chaos upon the City of Temples, targeting the devoted followers of the Source Dragons. Yet, his rampage was interrupted by the Arc Dragon of Focus, who wielded the powers of the Source Dragon of Focus. Since Focus is a natural adversary of Chaos, the Arc Dragon confronted Thunderfang and ultimately triumphed, striking him down with a powerful beam of Focus. This sent Thunderfang crashing to the ground, where he was subsequently imprisoned deep within the Realm of Oni and Dragons.^[2]
