Plot

Plot[]

In the Crossroads, the masked bounty hunter, Rogue, discreetly meets with Zeatrix to discuss a potential new job. The former princess requests for the hunter to deliver Ras to her alive, and in exchange, she would pay him quintuple his usual rate. Rogue accepts this new mission.

Elsewhere, Arrakore was granting wishes to almost anyone who came to visit him in Djinjago, with each wish helping to restore portions of his long lost realm. After granting several wishes, Dareth was next in line and wished to become a real Spinjitzu master, much to Arrakore's dismay. The Djinn refused to grant Dareth's wish, stating that he was not obligated to grant any wish and had discretion to refuse should the wish be beyond his ability to grant or if he didn't think it would be a good idea. When Dareth asked which one it was in his situation, Arrakore firmly replied that it was definitely both. Suddenly, the skies grew dark, accompanied by a sudden storm. Turning, Arrakore and his guests spotted Rox and a platoon of Dragonian Trackers heading their way. With an all-too knowing sigh, Arrakore mumbled under his breath that this could not be good. When Rox landed, she introduced herself and demanded for the Djinn to repair her Prismatic Blade. He refused, stating that while he did not know Rox, he did know the nature of the blade and its ability to be used for evil.

Meanwhile in the First Land, Lloyd and the other Ninja with him continued to study the Prismatic Blade in their possession, unsure of its true nature or properties.

At the same time in the City of Temples, Kai and Nya studied The Sagas of the Eternal Sources, thumbing through its pages for anything about the prismatic blades. Kai however grew frustrated, grumbling that the book lacked a page of contents and that he rather be spending his time searching for the Forbidden Five. Nya however almost immediately discovered that the book's contents were listed precisely in alphabetical order and discovered the legend of Thunderfang and how he had been defeated by the Arc Dragon of Focus and was subsequently imprisoned by five chains forged from Prismatic Steel - chains that could only be cut by the five prismatic blades.

In Djinjago, Rox and her forces have not taken kindly to Arrakore's refusal and were now threatening the Djinn into compliance. When Arrakore refused once more, Rox produced an artifact and warned that she would use its power to entrap Arrakore into becoming her servant if he would not willingly repair the blade. Arrakore attempted to flee from his would-be captors, but unfortunately, his strength had been drained from all the wishes he had granted this day. Too weak to escape, he cleverly thought of a plan to summon his allies, the ninja, for help. Calling out to Rox, Arrakore played on her ego to trick her into wishing for the ninja to be here, shocking Rox as the Djinn granted her unintended wish. Moments later, Sora, Riyu, and Nya were poofed away from their respective groups and into Djinjago to Arrakore's aid.

Elsewhere, on the shores of the rocky island, Ras continued to observe Arin's training. Unimpressed with his form and failure to perform a perfect Spinjitzu tornado, Ras urged him to embrace his anger and to convert it into strength. After reminding the boy that Master Wu was responsible for the Merge and the deaths of Arin's parents, Arin found the necessary strength to once again perform a full Spinjitzu tornado. Ras then explained to him the importance of the Source Dragon Icons to his plan of reversing the Merge and Arin pledged to help him in any way he could if it meant bringing back his parents.

In Djinjago, Nya, Sora, and Riyu fought against Rox and her Dragonian forces. As they fought, they learned from Arrakore about Rox's plans of having her shattered prismatic blade repaired and Nya briefed Sora on the importance of the blades. Sora then attempted to wish for Rox and the Dragonians away but Arrakore was unable to grant this wish due to his current exhaustion. Nevertheless, she soon discovered that Arrakore still had enough power to grant smaller wishes, such as wishing for Rox's feet to be stuck to the ground, momentarily humiliating the dark warrior as she found herself unable to move. Sora then relayed to Nya and Riyu that wishes could work and the latter two began to make good use out of Arrakore's powers to shift the tide of battle.

After several more moments of fighting, Rox grew desperate and punched her fist into the ground, activating Shatterspin and releasing herself from the ground. With the ninja focused on the Dragonians, Rox deceptively made her way to where Arrakore was resting and utilized her artifact to capture him and force him to her will. Although Arrakore adamantly refused to grant Rox's wishes, the artifact compelled him to do so whether he wanted to or not and in a burst of light, Rox's prismatic blade was restored and reforged. Sora and Nya then spotted Rox's doings and rushed forward to attack, but Rox froze them in place with another wish.

Delighted by the ninja's helpless states, Rox began to abuse her newfound wish powers, forcing Nya and Sora to bow before her just for a good laugh. As the two were forced to bow against their will, Sora noted that Rox's artifact appeared to be technological in nature and that she should be able to user her powers on it. When Rox made her next wish for the ninja to stand up, Sora immediately used her power of Technology to rip apart the artifact and free Arrakore. After another brief fight with Rox, the dark warrior realized there was no further point in fighting with the ninja and called for her forces to retreat; after all, they had repaired the prismatic blade and have completed their intended mission.

With Rox and her forces in retreat, Nya and Sora spoke with Arrakore and congratulated him on the progress he had made so far in restoring his realm. Although his powers were too exhausted to show the ninja Arin's location, he was able to use the last of his strength to return them back to where they had originally been. Sora and Riyu were returned to Lloyd's group in the First Land, and Nya was returned to the City of Temples. There, both relayed to their respective groups their encounter with Rox in Djinjago and the true purposes of the prismatic blades. With the Forbidden Five already in possession of three of the blades and one in possession of the ninja, there still remained one more for both groups to find.

Meanwhile on the shores of the island, Ras and Arin were preparing to depart. Arin asked his master of their destination, to which Ras requested the location of where the ninja first learned about the Dragon Cores. Arin replied that it was from the Temple of the Dragon Cores inside the World Forest and agreed to take Ras there. The pair then departed, but were unaware that Rogue had already tracked them down to this island and had watched them depart.
