Winds of Chaos

Overview

“A great warrior of the Dragon army, Thunderfang, the Shatter Dragon of Chaos, believed his war victories entitled him to become one of the Source Dragons. When he was denied this honor, he unleashed chaos upon the fabled City of Temples.”

The Winds of Chaos are a tumultuous storm fueled by chaotic power harnessed by Thunderfang.

History

History[]

Background[]

The Winds of Chaos were created by Thunderfang, drawing power from the Oni souls of those he had vanquished. Following the conclusion of the War of Oni and Dragon, Thunderfang was denied the prestigious title of Source Dragon, which filled him with rage. In his fury, he unleashed the destructive Winds of Chaos on the City of Temples, intent on annihilating both the city and its people. Fortunately, the Arc Dragon of Focus intervened, confronting Thunderfang and ultimately defeating him, which brought an end to the chaos and saved the city from destruction.[1]

Chaos Unchained[]

The Winds of Chaos were created once again when Thunderfang was freed from three of his chains. When Drix sent a fly to warn the other Forbidden Five that the Ninja were delaying him, the Five and their Dragonian Warriors flew through the Winds of Chaos tornado and attack the Ninja. After Rox and Nokt reclaimed the last two Prismatic Blades, the Five flew into the tornado, which Lloyd ordered the Ninja to follow them but discovered the tornado's winds were too strong and they were caught in it. After flying through the tornado, Nokt also used Brute Force to cause some of the cave's rocks to get into the Winds of Chaos. The Ninja managed to escape, however, when Sora combined her jet, with P.I.X.A.L.'s car, and Zane's larger body.

The Shatter Dragon[]

As the Ninja recovered, Thunderfang broke from his prison and continued to fight the Ninja in the Winds of Chaos. After Arin defeated him by throwing the healing elixir from the Well of the Lost, Thunderfang was defeated and the Winds of Chaos ceased.
