City[]
- 60291 Family House includes a boy wearing a Lloyd hoodie (a print that debuted in 40429 Ninjago World), and one room features a Ninjago-inspired video game.[1]
- 60380 Downtown features two cards, these being Card 1 - Lloyd ZX and Card 12 - Ultra Zane (TCG S1), and a mini-model of the Temple of Airjitzu.
- The newspaper tile from 70657 Ninjago City Docks, featuring Cole and Kai, appears in the LEGO City No Limits episode, "Dodgeball Against the Entire City?!."[2]
- In the LEGO City No Limits MAX episode, "Curses and Crystals," a poster of Cole[note 1] dressed in his tournament robes (based on the sticker from the aforementioned Family House set) can be seen in Bytz's comic store.[3]
DREAMZzz[]
- Will you enter the Dream World? is a series of promotional shorts for DREAMZzz featuring the Ninjago characters and setting.
- Ninjago exists as a TV series in the Waking World of DREAMZzz.
- In "Awakening", Izzie is seen watching "The Absolute Worst".[4]
- In "Dream Chasers", the fan art of Fugi-Dove from "Papergirl" and the four original ninja's insignias make a cameo.[5][6]
- In "Dreamer's Block", Mateo, Izzie, and José are seen watching "The Jade Princess",[7] and José mentions the Oni Trilogy.
- In "Night Hunted", "The Jade Princess" is seen playing on the TV again.
- "Ninjago - Dream Team" is a special crossover episode of DREAMZzz in which the ninja team up with the Dream Chasers in a dream to save dreamers in peril and stop the Night Hunter. The episode is only considered to be canon to DREAMZzz.[8]
- In "Sound of Sirens", Zoey asks if the library has Way of the Departed.
- In “Join The Club”, Z-Blob does his own version of Spinjitzu known as “The Blobby Spinjitzu”.
- In "Mission: Ungoggle-Able", the fan art of Fugi-Dove is seen again, and several posters for Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu are also seen on an alley wall.
Friends[]
- At the beginning of the LEGO Friends of Heartlake City episode, "Andrea's Big Moment," one of Emma's paintings depicts Nya.[9] The painting is a redraw of Nya's pilot character art featuring Nya as a mini-doll instead of a minifigure.
Legends of Chima[]
- In Legends of Chima, Nya's phoenix symbol can be seen on the walls of the Phoenix Temple in episodes such as "The Call of Cavora", "The Crescent", and "Cool and Collected".[10]
The LEGO Movie[]
- In The LEGO Movie, the Green Ninja has a non-speaking role as one of the Master Builders.
- The Green Ninja appears in the set, 70815 Super Secret Police Dropship.
- At the end of the film when Emmet talks to President Business, a stop-motion video of 9448 Samurai Mech is shown on one of the screens behind him.[11]
- The DVD extra, "Enter the Ninjago," features Lloyd and the other ninja.
Minecraft[]
- 21160 The Illager Raid features a Minecraft version of Kai.
Nexo Knights[]
- In the Nexo Knights episode, "The Golden Castle," Lance Richmond is offered the leading role in various films including "Knightjago 3," which is "about a knight who fights by spinning around or something." Soon after this, a squirebot is seen practicing a villainous role with a mask that clearly resembles Garmadon,[12] which is intended to be Monstrox, who is also voiced by Mark Oliver.[note 2]
Miscellaneous[]
- The promotional set 5005358 Minifigure Factory includes a P.I.X.A.L. nanofigure.
- The LEGOLAND set 40429 Ninjago World is based on Ninjago: The Ride and includes a boy with a Lloyd hoodie.

- 70620 Ninjago City features a card depicting one of Johnny Thunder's Orient Expedition variants.
- 70657 Ninjago City Docks features Johnny (in his Minifigures Series 19 form) in a signed picture and on a billboard advertising "Thunder Adventure Tours" with the plane from 5935 Island Hopper.
Alien Conquest[]
- The Alien Clinger appears as a mask on a recurring background character.
- Pixelated Alien Clingers are pictured in white on Zane's high school clothes.
- 70657 Ninjago City Docks features the letters ADU (Alien Defense Unit) and a spaceship (from 7066 Earth Defense HQ).
Atlantis[]
- LEGO Battles: Ninjago features Lance Spears as a playable character.
- 70657 Ninjago City Docks features a card depicting a Squid Warrior.
Bionicle[]
- 70620 Ninjago City features a sign in the Okoto language.
- 70657 Ninjago City Docks features a map of Mata Nui with its name spelled in the Matoran alphabet and a poster of the Mask of Ultimate Power.
Blacktron[]
- The Blacktron Fan wears a shirt with the Blacktron logo.
Castle (2007)[]
- LEGO Battles: Ninjago features the Evil Wizard and the LEGO Battles variant of the King as playable characters.
- The crown symbol appears on the belts of Khanjikhan and another past Djinn King's statue seen in "The Way Back."
City[]
- LEGO Battles: Ninjago features a Police Officer as a playable character.
Exo-Force[]
- 70657 Ninjago City Docks features a Shadow of Ronin poster depicting Sentai Mountain in the background.
Fabuland[]
- 70620 Ninjago City features a card depicting William Walrus.
- 71837 Ninjago City Workshops features a poster for Fabuland.
Galidor[]
- 70620 Ninjago City features a poster for Galidor, and Rufus McCallister wears a shirt with the Galidor logo.
- Rufus appears in The LEGO Ninjago Movie with this shirt, and his TV counterpart adopted this design as well.
Legends of Chima[]
- Main article: Chima
- In "Curseworld, Part II," Lloyd and Morro briefly end up in Chima during their battle across the realms. The scene utilizes footage from the Legends of Chima episode, "Ravens vs. Eagles."[14]
- Chima was subsequently listed as a realm on Ninjago's Museum site as one of the locations introduced in Possession.[15]
- 70620 Ninjago City features a card depicting Laval, which also appears in The LEGO Ninjago Movie.
- In "The Kaiju Protocol," Wu and P.I.X.A.L. accidentally open a portal to Chima while searching for the ninja, and several Beavers come out and run around the monastery.[16]
- At the beginning of "Ninjago Confidential," a Beaver is seen in Ninjago City.[17]
- In "The Turn of the Tide," a Beaver attends Nya's memorial.
- In "The Blood Moon," Ras lists the Forever Rock as one of the regions of his realm, the Wyldness.
The LEGO Movie[]
- In "Back to School," Wyldstyle, Unikitty, and Wonder Woman from The LEGO Movie are pictured in Nya's locker as some of her heroes who inspire her.
- Unikitty is pictured on the N-POP Girl's shirt in 71019 The LEGO Ninjago Movie Series and The LEGO Ninjago Movie.
- 70620 Ninjago City features a sign that reads "Visit Bricksburg" (the main city in The LEGO Movie) in Ninjargon, a poster that resembles the "BELIEVE" cat poster from The LEGO Movie, and a card depicting Unikitty.
- The Blacktron Fan and Panda Suit Guy appear in The LEGO Ninjago Movie.
Mars Mission[]
- LEGO Battles: Ninjago features an Alien Commander as a playable character.
Minifigures[]
- Several video games feature minifigures from this theme as playable characters.
- LEGO Battles: Ninjago has the Maraca Man, Pharaoh, Spartan Warrior, and Zombie.
- LEGO Ninjago: Rise of the Snakes had the Baseball Player, Caveman, Circus Clown, Cowboy, Demolition Dummy, Disco Dude, Egyptian Queen, Evil Dwarf, Explorer, Forestman, Gladiator, Gorilla Suit Guy, Maraca Man, Mime, Mummy, Musketeer, Pharaoh, Punk Rocker, Race Car Driver, Rapper, Ringmaster, Space Alien, Spaceman, Spartan Warrior, Sumo Wrestler, Super Wrestler, Tennis Player, The Monster, Tribal Chief, Viking, and Zombie.[note 3]

- LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids has the Robot and Spaceman.
- LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin has the Gingerbread Man.
- The TV series features the Circus Clown, Motorcycle Mechanic, and Ship Captain as minor recurring characters.
- A Robot costume is worn by a background character at Ninjago Doomsday Comix in "Child's Play."
- A character based on the Magician appears in a few episodes.
- In the background for the Virtual Tour, the Janitor can faintly be seen.
- The Babysitter's baby appears as Betsy's baby in The LEGO Ninjago Movie.

- Wu wears a Batman costume in The LEGO Ninjago Movie blooper reel.
- A citizen wears a Batman costume in the Ninjago Magazine comic, Game for a Game!.

- Tox and Mr. Pale use Toxikita and Invizable's designs respectively.
- 70657 Ninjago City Docks features a billboard depicting the car from 70162 Infearno Interception.

- 5004076 Minifigure Gift Set and 5004077 2015 Minifigure Gift Set include minifigures from Ninjago, Legends of Chima, City, and DC Super Heroes.
- "The Great Cross-World Caper!" is a non-canon LEGO Club Magazine comic that connects the worlds of City, Minifigures, Nexo Knights, and Ninjago.
