Plot
Plot[]
The Hunter Glacier is once again moving through Chima and freezing everything when it cuts down a tree with a bird and three of its eggs on it but Cragger is there to catch it, he then realizes the bird kind of reminds him of Plovar which Crooler laughs at calling Plovar useless, at the same time, Plovar is pecking his way out of the Ice he is trapped in and is able to break his head and feet free, he then goes through the door to the Trophy Room but are stopped by Mottrot and Mungus who decide to play hockey and use Plovar as a puck, after a quick back and forth, Mungus knocks Plovar straight out of the Hunter Glacier and all the way across the forest and lands right in front of Cragger therefore freeing him from the Ice completely. Plovar then sees the other bird Cragger has and starts to get jealous claiming he already found a replacement for Plovar but Cragger tries to say repeatedly that's not what happened. Meanwhile at the Lion Temple, Laval and Longtooth are inspecting one of the tunnels the Ice Hunters came through behind the falls of Cavora, they determine that this was how they got in and escaped with Laval's father - Lagravis, Laval then vows to save his father by going through the same tunnel but Longtooth tells him the Lions need him at the temple instead as with Lagravis away, that means Laval is King of the Lions now, he ultimately agrees and goes back to the Throne Room and gives his first order to Leonidas and Lennox to seal off the tunnel which Stealthor was using before the passage got blocked off, Flinx then puts his toy boat into the Sacred Pool but Laval tells him to show respect and to not do that then Longtooth looks proud and says that Laval is starting to sound just like his father which worries him. They then discuss the Throne as Laval doesn't want to sit in it since it would make him too official, Longtooth argues he is official but lets it pass that Laval can lean on it or whatever if he wants to. After their brief discussion over the Throne, Cragger and Plovar come in to tell Laval and Longtooth about the Trophy Room but Plovar wants Cragger to apologize first for betraying him, Cragger ends up doing this and then they are telling them about the Trophy Room inside the Hunter Glacier.
In the Hunter Glacier, Fangar is again sorting his Trophies when Stealthor returns after the tunnel behind the falls of Cavora was blocked off, Fangar asks him if he saw the Phoenix child Flinx in the Lion City to which Stealthor says yes but tells him about the tunnel that was blocked off but Fangar reminds him of the other tunnels they can use and he tries to but in but Fangar just tells him to bring him the Phoenix child so he can add him to his collection. Laval wants to break into the Trophy Room to save his father along with Cragger's but Longtooth tells him he has important matters at the Lion Temple first, he tells him that; The Wolves want to know if they can move into the Bear Caves now that the Bears are gone so that way when Skinnet comes around they have a way to get rid of the odor, the Beavers want to build a dam across the Grand Archway to catch all the water when the Hunter Glacier melts, the Ravens are proposing they turn the Lion Market area into a two-story shopping plaza with mechanical stairs, pleasant background music and a court for affordable food, Razar then says it's a one stop shopping center, and the Rhinos want to invite the Mammoths over to play in the snow, which Longtooth says might be a problem since the Mammoths are technically their enemies. Laval then asks Rogon if he is sure he wants the Mammoths to play with them since they are their enemies but Rogon says that is why they made the Ice statue but it is shown to have melted after being dragged to the Lion Temple, but Laval seemingly convinces the Rhinos to not trust the Mammoths by telling him Rocks are stronger than Ice, he then asks Longtooth why he can't do this small stuff but Longtooth tells him that is what a King does, and keeping the peace by helping the tribes is easier than keeping the peace through fighting, Laval then asks if they can plan their attack yet but Longtooth says he needs to fill out the paperwork first. VoomVoom and Vornon then fly in and Longtooth runs in the Throne Room to tell Laval about the Vultures attacking and so he, Cragger and Flinx go to confront them and hopes they are there to negotiate releasing Lagravis and Crominus but they instead give Laval a note which says; "Greetings, King of the Lions, It is our pleasure to inform you that you are under attack, signed Sir Bucky" and Laval realizes there are Ice bombs attached to the Ice Vulture Gliders and tells everyone to take cover as they detonate and freeze the entire outside walkway and part of the Lion Temple.
Right after the explosion, Longtooth and the Lion guards are frozen except for Laval, Cragger, Plovar and Flinx, but Cragger's tail got caught in the Ice and Plovar goes to break it off. Li'Ella then returns to the Crescent where Lundor asks her how she enjoyed her trip to the Lion City, she says it was great and Lundor asks her if she happened to see any other Leopards there but they are interrupted when they see that Lion City is under attack by the Ice Hunters. The Hunters begin their attack on the City and start freezing it as the Lions, Cragger and Flinx fight the Hunters. At the same time rushes into the Phoenix Temple to get help from Fluminox and Tormak, Tormak tells her they can't send help to groundborns every time they are in trouble but Li'Ella says this is different and calls out that Tormak is a groundborn too or did he forget, and thus they agree to help the Lion City, Firox, Foltrax and Frax board the Flying Temple and head out to battle but Firox tells Foltrax and Frax they will not be firing today disappointing them, he then talks to Fluminox and tells him it's been thousands of years and says his boys can't play pretend fight forever, but Fluminox says this isn't their fight, it's the Hunters' but Li'Ella then comes in and reminds him his son is there too but Fluminox is sure Flinx is doing fine but Tormak urges that it wouldn't hurt to at least check to make sure and so they finally make their way over.
At Lion City, the battle is overwhelming, Laval orders Cragger to take on the Hunters down in the Market area and orders Flinx to stay close so he doesn't lose him again, he then orders Longtooth to close the Lion gates but Fangar exits his vehicle on smaller bike and ramps off the stairs to the top of the Lion gate and while up there, the Lions try to attack him but his troops freeze them as he is freezing over the Lion gate and turns it into a Saber-Tooth gate with his Ice powers, Cragger is down below fending off against the Ice Hunters and takes out a few of them while up top Fangar lands onto the walkway of the temple and orders Laval to give him the Phoenix child Flinx but Laval refuses instead telling Fangar to release his father Lagravis and the two start dueling each other, however, this works in Fangar's favor as he is backing further and further away forcing Laval to be separated from Flinx allowing the Hunters to get to Flinx but when Laval realizes this, he is pushed back to the other side of the walkway closer to Flinx after Fangar uses a CHI orb and he and the Hunters surround Laval and Flinx and tells the former to give him the Phoenix child, they are about to freeze them when the Phoenix Temple comes flying in and they shoot their fire shots, melting the Ice and freeing everyone that was frozen and frees the Lion Legend Beast who also uses his fire breath to free more Lion guards, this allows Laval to get the upper hand and turns it around on Fangar. Tormak then says he is going to seal off the tunnels which Li"Ella says she wants to do too but Tormak tells her to stay in the ship, he jumps out of the Flying Temple but Li'Ella also sneaks off so she can help too.
Tormak then seals off each of the tunnels with his Tygafyre bow and chases away some of the Hunters. Meanwhile up in the Lion Temple walkway Fangar tells Laval he played well but failed to stop them from doing the one thing they came there for, the Phoenix child Flinx as it's revealed he was able to be captured by the Hunters, however, but they can leave with Flinx, Li'Ella shows up which catches the attention of both Laval and Fangar, which Laval is creeped out at how Fangar said her name, Mottrot then tells Li'Ella to let go of his snout because it is sensitive and asks Mungus for help but Li'Ella stomps on his foot causing him to fall and slide down the frozen steps to the temple, she then tosses Mottrot down the steps after swinging him by the snout but the Ice melts causing him to bounce instead of slide, however, just when Laval thinks he won, Fangar escapes onto his flying vehicle and is able to grab both Li'Ella and Flinx but Laval also grabs them to pull them back down to the ground, but Li'Ella tells Laval to not worry about her and to save Flinx and so she bites Fangar's left arm causing him to left go of Flinx and he and Laval fall into the creek below as they watch her get taken. On the walkway of the Lion Temple, Cragger and the Lions are celebrating their victory over the Ice Hunters claiming they can never beat them, while Laval and Flinx are still in the creek watching Fangar take Li'Ella away from them as Laval whispers her name.
