Trivia
Trivia[]
- Due to it taking place between the end of Dragons Rising Season 3 and the start Season 4, the ninja don't appear as they are scattered around the Merged Lands.[3] However, there are numerous things that don't match this timeline placement:
- In-universe, Crossroads' Crosstalk is a weekly series, and "The Whispering Wood" takes place immediately after "Chaos Reigns," meaning that the six weeks in which all episodes were recorded couldn't have occurred. Furthermore, Nya states in "The Heartbeat of all the Realms" that Jay stopped being a bounty hunter only around 3 days earlier, implying that the first part of the season took place in the span of days.
- It is unknown at which point in time is "Caught!" supposed to take place, as in the episode, the Monastery of Spinjitzu seems to be empty, while Rontu was present at the monastery's courtyard throughout the whole first half of Season 4 while Barry, Jenny, Cole, and the Finders were also present in the monastery.
- The fifth episode, "Convention!" is the first episode that directly addresses an event from the previous season with the Spectral invasions, so it's possible this episode occurred concurrently to the first part of Season 4. However, this can not be applied to the previous episodes.
- "Celebration!" takes place sometime between "Chaos Reigns" and "A Wonder of the Merged Lands" as Lloyd is attempting to contact Zane, meaning that he hadn't arrived in the woods yet. However, this clashes with "Convention!" as that takes place after the Spectral invasions and the first 5 episodes of Season 4 take place over the course of one day, which doesn't match the weekly nature of the podcast.
- Rapton's storyline of him moving in the Crossroads and opening his own store doesn't fully line up with his appearances in "When Doves Cry" and "Tonight We Hunt Monsters," which shows him still working with the Freebooters.
- These make the series the third confirmed canon installment to have major inconsistencies with the TV series, the first being The Realm of Shadows stage play and the second being the Mother Earth comic.

- This podcast series confirmed that Gayle Gossip and Blazey H. Speed survived the Merge.
- YouTuber MiniSuperHeroesToday had a small musical portion in each episode.[4]
- Throughout the series, Kreel can't remember any of the ninja's names, including Arin and Sora's, despite her remembering Riyu's name in "Between You and Lee".
- This is the first release for Ninjago: Dragons Rising to use the term "Sensei" and the first time in the franchise since Season 6: Skybound, nearly 10 years ago.
