Overview
The Well of the Lost was a well located in the Spectral Lands in the village center on the hilltop. The well contains a mysterious healing elixir made of soul energy that allows souls to move forward from the Departed Realm and provides healing to living beings.
When Thunderfang arrived after being killed by Arin, he used the Source-Henge, harvesting enough souls in the Merged Realms to mix with the elixir in the Source-Henge to become a Source Dragon. It was destroyed during the fight between the Arc Dragon of Focus and Thunderfang, leading to the Shatter Dragon’s defeat. Despite the well's destruction, souls can still move on.[1]
History
History[]
The Spectral Lands[]
Morro led Arin to the Well of the Lost after the latter entered the Spectral Lands in search of the elixir that was contained within. As Arin filled a vial with the golden liquid, Morro expressed his inability to provide an answer as to what the elixir actually was, only noting that it could sometimes heal living beings as well as help departed beings move on.
The Shatter Dragon[]
Morro was at the Well when another soul arrived in the Spectral Land. The soul turned out to be Thunderfang, whom Arin had slain by using the well's elixir to expel all the souls he had devoured. Several Soul Suckers then arrived, but Thunderfang devoured their souls, and that of Morro, to continue his plans.
Casket of Bones[]
Drix arrived back from the Administration with the souls he collected. He blew the stolen souls into the Well as it powered the Source-Henge.
Under the Light of a Mechanical Moon[]
Rox arrives back at the Well, where she adds in the stolen souls she gathered. When the Ninja arrive in the Spectral Lands, they notice Zarkt putting the souls he stole from the Land of Lee into the Well.
The Vault of Focus[]
Nokt arrived at the Well with the souls he still has. Thunderfang reprimands him for failing to collect most of the souls in Imperium but Rox came back with more, allowing the Shatter Dragon's plan to be active, with the Well bursting with energy.
For Whom the Bell Tolls[]
As Lloyd and Arin went to the Spectral Lands, the well's hill and hole is seen with Thunderfang as he begins empowering himself. As he grows a larger claw, Thunderfang informs the Five that the Ninja are summoning his mortal enemy, the Arc Dragon of Focus.
When Doves Cry[]
The Source-Henge continued to empower Thunderfang with the enhanced healing elixir, but Lloyd and Arin manage to find a way into the cavern where they discovered it.
Chaos Reigns[]
As Thunderfang neared the final stage of his transformation at the Well of the Lost, the surge of energy transforms him as Lloyd and Arin try to get the Unbidden Storm to work again, which all the power from the Source-Henge begin to end. After Arin restores the Unbidden Storm with Object Spinjitzu, the two use the Source-Henge and the stone to summon the Arc Dragon of Focus.
After the Arc Dragon of Focus blew Thunderfang back, destroying the cliff that contained the enhanced healing elixir, he released a surge of soul energy that returned the souls to the Hollow Ones and made him, the Spectral Dragonians, and the Forbidden Five disappear.
