Plot

Plot[]

Scorm has just closed off Laval from his friends and Cragger and Eris want to help but the others aren't willing after hearing that Laval dropped CHI into the Gorge of Eternal Depth indirectly creating the Crawlers. Meanwhile, Rinona asks Lavertus why he doesn't want to help Crominus and he explains their rivalry; when Lavertus was younger, he fell in love with a young princess from the Crocodile Tribe named Crunket, however the young prince Crominus also had eyes for the princess and he went to Reegull to get seeds to a plant called a Persuader Plant and used it to get Lavertus away from Crunket. but when that failed he used the plant again and made Lavertus steal CHI from the Sacred Pool but was caught and the effects wore off and he realized what he did and so Lavertus was exiled from Chima for stealing the CHI, he dared not tell the Lions about it as he didn't want a war to break out because of this so he left to the Outlands and Crominus got Crunket and the tribe and the two got married leaving Lavertus with Crunket's scarf. Rinona, after hearing this, says she is sorry that he had to live like this but then tells Lavertus that he can't let an old grudge like that stop him from saving the tribes and the Legend Beasts and tells him to use the Golden CHI he has, he then accepts and prepare to make his sacrifice and confront Crominus about this.

The tribes are still deciding whether or not to help Laval but Cragger reminds them that he helped them get their Legend Beasts, it only makes sense to help him too and they agree and go to the cave mouth where Laval was but he is nowhere to be found. Laval then wakes up and finds the Lion Legend Beast perched on top of a rock platform in the water, he attempts to use a CHI orb but the Lion urges him not to and to instead use the CHI inside of them, Laval then decides to swim to the Legend Beast, remembering what Cragger told him and makes it to his Legend Beast, he then passes this advice onto the Lion and they both make it across to safety. At the same time the tribes are fighting the Crawlers and Plovar distracts Spinlyn by saying he will help with her beauty and takes her to a mud pit and she realizes she is trapped and hisses for her underlings but they too get stuck after jumping in. Rogon then shoots at the ceiling dropping the rocks onto the Crawlers and is shooting the Scorpion statue when he gets shot at and Scorm goes to hold up the statue when Laval and the Lion Legend Beast come in and knock it down but Scorm begins to block off the exits.

Just as Scorm is about to block off the final exit, Rinona and Lavertus fly in to help and that is when Rogon reveals that Rinona is his sister, Eris is relived as she thought Rinona was a potential girlfriend but she was wrong, however, Lavertus then starts using his Golden CHI to bring down the cave onto the Crawlers and that's when he comes face-to-face with Crominus for the first time since his exile and Laval and Cragger expect them to fight but Lavertus whispers something in Crominus' ear and gives him Crunket's scarf and sees them off when Lavertus tells Laval to tell his brother, Laval's dad, that he misses him dearly and chants one more time "FOR CHIMA!" but also for his sweet sweet Crunket and puts on his helmet as the cave collapses on him. The tribes make it outside where Scorm tries to climb out for the CHI and Laval tells him that he learned that they don't need the CHI orbs as they all have CHI inside of them but Scorm rudely shuts him up and tells him to just give him the CHI, Laval says all he had to do was ask and he gives his orb to Scorm who is confused by this gesture but Laval tells him that's what CHI is used for, it's meant to be shared, the rocks then collapse on Scorm and Laval tells him to use the CHI well and use it wisely as he and the tribes return home.

Lagravis is on the towers of the Lion Temple when he sees the tribes and the Legend Beasts have returned and sends out a Lion distress roar to the other tribes to inform them of the news. Laval and Lagravis reunite as does Crominus and Crunket, Crominus then apologizes to Lagravis over what he said about the Lions and Laval especially and says they are among some of the most noble tribes in Chima, in then mentions they wouldn't have returned if not for Lavertus, Lagravis is shocked by this as no one has spoken to him since his exile for stealing their CHI but Crominus says that's not the entire truth. He informs them of what he did all those years ago and felt bad about it ever since, Laval then asks him what Lavertus said to him before the cave collapsed, Crominus says that Lavertus hated him for so long after his exile, but then met Cragger and said that if not for their feud all those years ago, one of Chima's greatest heroes wouldn't have been born which Cragger brags to Laval about, Lavertus then realized the meaning behind his sacrifice and then gave Crunket's scarf to Crominus telling him to keep them safe, Crunket starts crying and Crominus then begs for forgiveness from the Lions for what he did and says he will do whatever he can to make it up to them, but Lagravis lifts his old friend up and says they must stand together as equals and allies in peace as that's what Lavertus would've wanted and Crominus says they must safe Mount Cavora together and chants "FOR CHIMA!" and for Lavertus.

Lagravis then asks Laval how they defeated the Crawlers and Laval says that it's not always about power, and says that in a way, without having CHI, it liberated them, allowing them to rely on each other more and on their inner CHI, Lagravis then says there is a little bit of Mount Cavora in all of them, Laval then says that's why the Legend Beasts didn't drink the CHI water in the Great Story, they knew this and as promised, they shared that to them when they needed it most. They all watch as the Legend Beasts fly up to Mount Cavora and enter it through their respective heads and restore the falls of CHI after they were taken. Eris then asks where the Legend Beasts went now but Laval says he doesn't know but is sure they will be back when they need them most just like the Great Story said.

Scorm then walks back into the Scorpion Caves and says he cannot believe that Laval gave him CHI and called him viciously kind. He then says if the CHI never found them, they never would've known what it's like to be so broken, defeated, alone, he then throws the CHI down the chasm and it lands on the ground awakening another tribe.

Trivia

Trivia[]

  • This marks the last appearance Cragger's Scale Ripper.
  • This is the last episode to play "Unleash the Power" as the theme song.

Errors[]

  • Worriz calls Laval a liar and says that Cragger and Eris "covered for him." However, Laval's mistake was not lied about, and instead was just forgotten and rarely mentioned, rather than covered up. In Into the Outlands, his mistake was briefly mentioned by Cragger, indicating he did not keep a secret.
  • Just like the webisode "Like Father, Like Son", Lavertus' flashback with a younger Lagravis and Crominus has no sign of youth, as their grey hairs and other old features are still present.
