In the Pits[]

Grimtak is brought out, ridden by Zilvar to fight Jay, who is also riding another dragon beast. After they fight, Grimtak then aids in the rebellion against Pitmaster, a rebellion that is successful. Grimtak is then ridden and fed by Zilvar as he and the ninja travel to the Never Kingdoms.

A Frozen Scar[]

Grimtak, carrying Zilvar on his back, reached the border between the Land of Madness and the Never Kingdoms with the ninja. They crossed the barrier together and soon arrived at the Monastery of the Never Kingdoms, where they chose to rest for the night. The next morning, Grimtak strolled through the market with Zilvar, who bought fish from an Ice Fisher to feed him.

The Summit (flashback)[]

As he was about to get attacked by Ras, Zilvar whistled for Grimtak, who charged at Ras and knocked him. Then, with Zilvar, they set off to find the ninja.

The Summit[]

As the ninja and Zilvar continued their journey to the Abyss of Eternal Night, Zilvar continued to ride on Grimtak. Eventually, they arrived at the Abyss.

Desperately Seeking Sora[]

As they approached the Abyss of Eternal Night, Grimtak watched from afar with the ninja as Zilvar prepared to drop the Weapon of Desolation into the abyss. However, Zilvar hesitated, and the weapon's Source Energy began to corrupt him. Grimtak watched the Elemental Monsters battle the ninja. Suddenly, Zilvar whistled, summoning Grimtak with an urgent call. Compelled by loyalty, Grimtak charged forward, forcefully knocking the ninja aside as he reached Zilvar, who quickly mounted him. Grimtak delivered a punch to the charging Kai, pinning him down with his fist. Just as Grimtak was about to strike again, Jay intervened, attempting to remind him of their friendship. However, Grimtak let out a roar, dismissing Jay's plea as he continued his assault on the ninja. The ninja transformed into their Draconus Form, escalating the battle. Grimtak was locked in combat with Lloyd, who managed to dislodge Zilvar from Grimtak's back. Two Ice Monsters approached, and Lloyd knocked Grimtak against them. Overwhelmed, Grimtak began to retreat, while Lloyd urged him to seek safety.

Dangerous Connections[]

Following the Battle at the Abyss of Eternal Night, Grimtak to returned the Monastery of the Never Kingdoms. After Zilvar said his goodbye to Nya and Jay, he started riding Grimtak and leaves the monastery.
