Overview
The Tiger Tribe is a group of humanoid tigers that lived in the South of the Wyldness for millennia. Prior to the the Merge, an unknown event took place in the Wyldness, causing Ras to lose his people. This motivated him to devise a plan to reverse the Merge in hopes of reuniting with his people.
History
History[]
After forming their tribe, the tigers settled down in the South of the Wyldness, where they lived for years. One of them, Zarkar, became known across the whole realm for having Elemental Powers and winning the Tournament of the Sources.[1]
During the Forbidden Five's rampage on the Wyldness, the tribe was attacked. Most of them either submitted to Nokt and the Wolf Clan or were killed. Nokt took Zarkar as a "souvenir" with him to the Shadow Dojo, where he humiliated the weakened warrior in front of the other Five.[2]
At an unknown point in time, some of the surviving tigers would move to the Phoenix City in Chima and begin serving the Phoenix as part of the Fire Tribes.
Sometime after Ras was born, a catastrophic event unfolded in the Wyldness, an occurrence that no one could prevent. This led Ras to lose his tribe and become the last living descendant of Zarkar,[3] turning away from the very concept of heroes.[4][5]

Trivia
Trivia[]
- According to Nokt, the tribe was located below the Jagged Divide before the Exile of the Forbidden Five. However, in Ras' flashback in "The Forest of Spirits," he seems to be in the Forest of Spirits. This either implies that the tribe relocated in the thousands of years after the Five's exile, or that Ras travelled to the forest on his own.
- Rontu describes the Tiger Tribe as being made of honorable warriors and the actions of Ras would be seen as disgraceful.
Tigers seen in Legends of Chima
- Ras and Zarkar both have black fur, while Zilvar has white fur, contrasting with the orange fur of the tigers residing in Chima.
- All the known members of the tribe, including the ones from Chima, have the letters "A" and "R" in their names.
