— Braptor to Blista, "Attack of the Bats"

Braptor is the leader of the Bat Tribe.

History

History[]

Background[]

Braptor was once a normal bat living in the Gorge of Eternal Depth with the Spiders and Scorpions. When Crominus and Crunket fell into the gorge, they learned of the existence of the creatures that lived there, but were not afraid of them. However, when Laval dumped Chi into the gorge, the creatures got hold of them, causing them to evolve into new tribes. Braptor subsequently became the leader of the new Bat Tribe and aided Scorm in his quest for more Chi. Braptor and his tribe then blocked the waterfalls of Mount Cavora and captured the Legend Beasts to prevent them from interfering. During this time, he and his tribes started living in a cave.

Quest for the Legend Beasts[]

Into the Outlands[]

While attacking the Heroes of Chima with his tribe, Braptor captured Worriz with his Bat Flyers, only for a rock from the Rock Flinger to hit him, freeing Worriz. Later, while chasing Laval, Braptor rarely dodged the rocks and decided to chase Bladvic, only to be hit by rocks. When the heroes encountered a dead end, Braptor and his tribe followed them, only to get hit by rocks because of Rogon, allowing the heroes to escape.

A Tangled Web[]

Under Sparacon's command, Braptor flew towards Mount Cavora with his Bat Flyer and dropped him there. After Sparacon and some Spiders stole some Chi, Braptor took him from the mountain and tried to leave the place as the Tribes of Chima blasted at them. After tanking one of the blasts with his Bat Flyer, Braptor got captured by Ewald, who used his Eagle Jet's claw to catch him, leaving the Bat Flyer with no pilot and causing Sparacon to fall into the Crocodile Swamp with the Chi.

Horn to be Wild[]

While carrying Chi with his tribe, Braptor and his tribe got hit by Rogon's Rhino Bike. Furious, the Bat Tribe chased him to a mountain. However, as they were about to jump on him, Rogon started sharpening his "pillow" by using his bike, which knocked out the Bats, including Braptor, putting them to sleep. Seeing this, Rogon joined them as well.

Attack of the Bats[]

After the Heroes of Chima saved the Raven Legend Beast, Braptor ordered his tribe to attack the Eagle Spires.

When Eris and Laval arrived in the Outlands to destroy the Cave of the Bats, Braptor and Blista ambushed them, seizing their bag of Chi and capturing Laval. Then Braptor said they have come up with a game and dropped both Chi and Laval into a chasm, forcing Eris to choose between them. Then they leaved the place.

Later, when Braptor was taking his afternoon nap in the Cave of the Bats, Blista woke him up and said they have visitors, who were Laval and Eris. Eris pretended that he captured Laval and offered him to Braptor in exchange of four Chi orbs. Braptor asked why he should accept her offer, which in response Laval explained that his father, King Lagravis, would give his whole kingdom in exchange of Laval, saying that a kingdom is worthy way more than four Chi orbs. Upon hearing this, Braptor accepted the deal and gave them four Chi orbs, wanting Eris to give Laval to him. However, Eris used the Chi orb on herself instead and escaped with Laval to save the Beaver Dam, angering Braptor, who wanted Blista to send the whole swarm after the. In response, Blista reminded him that he ordered the swarm to take the Eagle Spires, causing Braptor to order Blista to follow the heroes.

The Eagle and the Bear[]

After the heroes saved the Bear Legend Beast, some of the Crawlers ambushed Laval and started chasing him with their new Speedorz, including Braptor. During the chase, Braptor accidentally hit a rock, causing him to hit Sparacon's Speedor. Then, he continued to chase Laval with some Spiders, only to accidentally get webbed by them. Fortunately, Braptor and some Bats got ahead of Laval and tried to ambush him, only for Laval to quickly dodge them, causing Braptor and Blista to crash into each other.

Tooth or Consequences[]

While the Crawlers were going to the Scorpion Cave, Braptor was with them.

As the Crawlers prepared for their final attack against the Heroes of Chima in the Scorpion Cave, Braptor stood alongside Scorm and Spinlyn. Scorm announced that the attack would honor the so-called Great Scorpion, leading to an argument between him and Spinlyn over who had originally provided the Crawlers with the Chi. Despite Braptor's attempts to intervene with a hiss, the conflict escalated. Scorm retaliated with his venom, while Spinlyn shot webs at him. In the chaos, Scorm inadvertently stung Braptor with his tail, leaving him temporarily paralyzed on the ground.

This May Sting a Bit[]

During the fight at the Scorpion Cave, the cave collapsed because of Scorm blasted the ceiling with his Korrodor, causing the Crawlers to get trapped in the cave, including Braptor.

Legend of the Fire Chi[]

Fire Dreaming[]

When Scorm accidentally revives the Hunters, they began to climb out of the cave and attacked the Crawlers. Despite their attempt to fight back, all the Crawlers, including Braptor, were frozen and captured.

The Snowball Effect[]

Braptor was shown frozen in the trophy room.

A Very Slippery Slope[]
