History[]

The Hollow Ones[]

Gandalaria wandered across Abracalabria to run multiple errands, remarking all the while that she had not been to the village for decades, if not centuries. Unfortunately, her visit would be marked by the start of the Spectral invasions, with the small village becoming the first of many targets.

The next day, Ras, Arin, and Sora arrived at the village gates in search of the Pontifex Magicus for knowledge on passage to the Underworld. When their request was denied, Ras viciously fought the guards to enter the village by force, only to discover to his shock the state of its citizens. When the trio questioned the survivors for answers, a dense fog rolled into the village accompanied by ominous music, signaling the return of the invaders.

Following Thunderfang's defeat at the hands of the Arc Dragon of Focus, the effects of the spectral invasions on Abracalabria are undone, unhollowing its environment and inhabitants.

Etymology[]

• The name is a portmanteau of "Abracadabra", a word typically used by magicians, and "Calabria", the southernmost region of mainland Italy.
