History

History[]

Background[]

Following the successful utilization of the Dragon Cores to halt the Coalescence, the First Spinjitzu Master entrusted one of the cores to the guardianship of the Lava-Tides within the Lava Wastes of the Wyldness to safeguard it from malevolent forces seeking to exploit the dragon energy of the Core for nefarious purposes. Many centuries later, these Lava-Tides found themselves in conflict with Wyldfyre, who engaged in a series of pranks that disrupted their tranquil abode.

At one point in time, Kizzy, a Water-Tide from the Azure Reef, was granted the power of Balance.

Dragons Rising, Season 1[]

Years after the Merge, Kai and Wyldfyre made their way to the Lava-Tide Village in search of the purple dragon core, which they needed to prevent the MergeQuakes. Unfortunately, the Lava-Tides, still incensed over Wyldfyre's past injustices, refused to hand the core to them. In an attempt to prove their worthiness, the leader ordered the two to fulfill all the tasks listed in the Scroll of Grievances, which included cleaning up Wyldfyre's mess. However, after cleaning the village up, the leader "pranked" them by throwing the core into a bottomless pit.

After the two Ninja descended into the pit and retrieved the core, it was snatched from them by Dorama and his stagehands, from whom the Lava-Tides stole the core back from. In the ensuing pursuit, Kai eventually cornered the leader, who intentionally led him to the space between the walls so that she could trick him into saying "What" and launch flaming boulders. Later, Wyldfyre ambushed the leader and attacked her with fireballs, only for the leader to swallow them and grow giant, claiming it had been all part of the plan before resuming her stampede. The leader was ultimately defeated by Heatwave, but not without injury, who then ferried away Kai and Wyldfyre on his back alongside the core.

The Elemental Mechs[]

Lava-Tony asked his sous-chefs to drag the egg crate to the stove, but the Crossroads was shortly attacked by a pair of ice dragons. Lava-Tony shouted that the dragons were after him for no reason and ordered his sous-chefs to defend his honor. The sous-chefs began to fire fireballs at the dragons, but were stopped by the Ninja. After Lava-Tony ordered his sous-chefs to protect the crate, before quickly correcting himself to say, "I mean, protect me," Arin became suspicious of the chef and investigated his crate, discovering ice dragon eggs inside, When Arin pressured him to confess the truth, Lava-Tony attempted to flee but was rammed from behind by Riyu, knocking him into his stove, which exploded and covered the ninja with noodles.

Dragons Rising, Season 2[]

The Ninja encountered Lava-Tides on several occasions one year after the Liberation of Imperium, with the most notable encounters being one wearing a top hat that Cole bumped into in the Crossroads while searching for a map of the Merged Realms, and a trio of Lava-Tides that broke into Kreel's Junkyard, aiming to steal one of the racing mechs before being forced to retreat by the intervention of Wyldfyre and Nya.

During the Tournament of the Sources, a Water-Tide named Kizzy was invited to and participated in the games. The Ninja first encountered Kizzy when they decided to infiltrate the City of Temples by firing a grappling hook at the elevator Kizzy was riding, much to the Water-Tide's confusion and shock. Kizzy was later matched against Sora in a parkour challenge, where the titular Master of Balance had a great initial advantage. However, Sora used her Technology power to win and eliminate Kizzy, who then gave up her powers to Sora via the Elemental Cup. Despite her elimination, Kizzy continued to spectate the following matches in the games and fought alongside several other Elemental Masters against the Wolf Clan after their corruption by Rox, ultimately prevailing after their elemental powers were returned to them.
