Bees are a species of insect living in Ninjago and the Wyldness.

History

History[]

Stone Cold (non-canon)[]

Wu deciphered Cardinsto's hint towards the next villain he would have to fight just as he heard a swarm of bees pursuing him. Realizing they were servants of the Insect Master, Wu fled the bees, jumping into a nearby river. It was here that the Barracudox had planned a joint attack. Wu used his Spinjitzu to create a waterspout, defeating both opponents and leaving him exhausted.

The Legend of Chima (flashback)[]

While Laval and Cragger were playing, a couple of bees were flying around their hive. Seeing this, Laval threw his sword to the hive, causing it to fall on Cragger's head and making bess attack him. Thankfully, Bladvic took the hive out of Cragger's head, saving him from the bees.

The Power of the Chi[]

Tale of the Tribe Stone[]

While racing to the Spiral Mountain with the Lion Guards, Laval ran to a hive that was on the way, causing bees to attack him and go astray.

Hy-Bear Active[]

A bee entered the Lion Temple and landed on Chi in the Sacred Pool of Chi. One of the Lion Elders tried to get it off, only for it to land on the Chi again. Seeing this, the Lion Elder roared at the bee, causing it to fall into the pool and get infused with Chi energy. Then, bee left the temple and went back to its hive, where it made honey infused with Chi energy, which made Bears go hyperactive.

After the effect of the honey wore off, the same bee flied over Balkar and Bladvic, who were sleeping.

Fake CHI, Real Trouble[]

While chasing the Bear Tribe, the honey in the hives splashed on the Wolf Tribe, causing bees to attack them, making Wilhurt and Winzar to crash into each other. Then, some bees stung Wilhurt. However, the bees eventually left, allowing Wolf Tribe to continue chasing the Bear Tribe.

Quest for the Legend Beasts[]

A Tangled Web[]

To disguise the Rock Flinger as a fly, Bladvic and Gorzan tried to get a hive, where bees were flying around. However, as Bladvic got the hive, bees flied around Gorzan, causing him to lose his balance.

The New Heroes[]

Riyu befriended some bees that resided around a meadow that the former was playing in. The bees were happy to play with Riyu and enjoyed their time with him. After Riyu spotted a group of dragon hunters, he asked the bees to play with the hunters so that he could escape. Unfortunately, the bees did not enjoy playing with these new visitors and returned to Riyu, unwittingly aiding in his capture by the hunters.

As the Serpentine generals brainstormed a plan to gain back the respect of the other Serpentine, Acidicus suggested they release a swarm of evil bees, which was quickly shot down by Skales, as they did not have any evil bees.

Thinking that the Gorillas will cheat, Bladvic ordered Bozy and another Bear to bring extra sticky bee hives to him.

Sora confidently asserted her title as the Master of Technology and warned the Claws of Imperium that she could easily transform their hover chariots into swarms of technological bees to attack them. One of the Claw Hunters then admitted to having apiphobia.

Dragons Rising, Season 2[]

The Final Game[]

In the final match of the Tournament of the Sources, Sora spotted the Control implant on the back of Nokt's neck and used her powers to remove the implant and transform it into a bumblebee-like drone. Although Nokt laughed off Sora's efforts, she used his dismissal to her advantage, using the drone's stinger to deliver electrical shocks painful enough to bring her opponent to his knees.
