Motion is a form of dragon energy and one of the seven Sources, personified by the Source Dragon of Motion. It is associated with the colors red and orange.

Motokinesis - The user is able to manipulate the action or process of motion.
- Motokinetic Beam Emission - The user can unleash powerful beams of concentrated motion.
Precognition - The user is capable of viewing and perceiving potential futures.
Megethoskinesis - As seen with the Source Dragon of Motion, the user can change the size of their physical body at will.
Image Projection - The user can project moving images as shown by the Source Dragon of Motion.
Dragon Icon Creation - As it is a form of dragon energy, the user can create a Source Dragon Icon.

Elemental Power Creation/Bestowal - The user can create and grant others Elemental Powers sourced from Motion.
- Potentikinesis Bestowal - When used and combined with other forms of Source Dragon energy, Motion can bestow the Elemental Essence of Golden Power to other beings.
- Pyrokinesis Bestowal - Motion can bestow the Elemental Power of Fire to other beings.
- Superhuman Speed Bestowal - Motion can bestow the Elemental Power of Speed to other beings.
- Sonokinesis/Audiokinesis Bestowal - Motion can bestow the Elemental Power of Sound to other beings.
- Vibrokinesis Bestowal - Motion can bestow the Elemental Power of Quake to other beings.
- Seismokinesis Bestowal - Motion can bestow the Elemental Power of Shockwave to other beings.
Dimensional Rift Creation - As seen with the Dragon Cores, which is made from Motion and the other sources, users can tear rifts in the fabric of reality, exposing the Ethereal Divide.
- Vacuum Effect - Such rifts are identical to MergeQuakes and have a vacuum effect that sucks nearby objects or people in.

Glen Lakin stated that the differences between the concepts of Flow and Motion as dynamic vs static movement^[9] and can be compared to the differences between doing yoga and sprinting.^[10]
When revealing the Elemental Powers coming from the source of Motion, Glen Lakin used these poetic descriptions:
- Fire - The dance of a camp fire, the lick of a flame. The hotter it burns, the faster it spreads.^[4]
- Speed - Closing a distance in the blink of an eye, the body itself in motion - IS Motion.^[5]
- Sound - Whether a piercing scream or a song from the heart, Sound is vibration, Motion tiny and numerous.^[6]
- Quake - The shifting of stone, a shaking that rattles us to our core - the guts of the world in Motion.^[7]
- Shockwave - The aftermath of Motion, the air itself exhaling. A release that can move others in its wake.^[8]
