Overview
Mortal avatars are Arc Dragons that are linked to the Source Dragons, acting as mortal bodies in place of the Source Dragons themselves in the mortal world and incarnations of their masters' wills.[2]
History
History[]
At some point, the mortal avatars descended from Firstbourne and were born as the mortal avatars to the Source Dragons in the mortal world so they wouldn't have to manifest in their own physical forms. Among them, the Arc Dragon of Focus, avatar of the Source Dragon of Focus, became the champion of the Source Dragons[3] while the Arc Dragon of Life, avatar of the Source Dragon of Life, became the guardian of the Whispering Wood.[4]
Thunderfang, the Shatter Dragon of Chaos, fell into a fit of rage after being rejected by the Source Dragons and chose to satisfy his thirst for revenge by attacking the City of Temples. Faced with this threat, the Source Dragons sent the Arc Dragon of Focus to confront him and protect their acolytes from the city's total destruction. The confrontation culminated with Thunderfang being imprisoned in Storm Mountain, while the Arc Dragon of Focus went into a deep slumber in the Caves of Bells.
Millennia later, after the spectral invasions, the ninja awakened the Focus Arc Dragon through the Trials of Focus, allowing it to face Thunderfang once more and defeat him definitively.
After the defeat of the Shatter Dragon, Lloyd and Arin ended up in the Whispering Wood, where they met another mortal avatar: the Arc Dragon of Life, avatar of the Source Dragon of Life.
