Overview
Dragon Ivory (also known as Dragonbone[1]) is a substance derived from the bones and horns of dragons.
Because of this, they are capable of harnessing Elemental Powers or amplifying them. Dragon Ivory can also enable people, with psychic links, to communicate with people in the Nether-Space. Combined with a substantial amount of Elemental Powers or dragon energy, it can allow a portal to be opened from the Nether-Space.

At some point in time, the Dragonbone Blade was created alongside the rest of the Dragon Armor with Dragon Ivory of the Firstbourne by her and the First Spinjitzu Master. When the Dragon Hunters confronted the Firstbourne, Iron Baron managed to steal the blade and it later began to be used by Heavy Metal for hunting dragons.
Heavy Metal uses the blade to attract Kai, Jay, and Zane's Elemental Powers so that she and the Dragon Hunters can capture them.
Crystalized[]
Wu used the Dragonbone Blade to fight against multiple Dragonides aboard the Destiny's Bounty, and later uses the blade to fight the Overlord atop of the Crystal Island. However, Wu ends up losing the blade when he was knocked off the edge, and the sword fell somewhere in the city.
Dragons Rising, Season 2[]
Nokt and Rox, who was possessing Jordana, stole three Crowns of Horns from Arc Dragons they killed for their plans to release the other members of the Forbidden Five. They also carved a little stone from Dragon Ivory of their victims to communicate with the other members while Zarkt, Drix, and Kur used Rox's body to communicate from the Nether-Space.[2]
Roby told Arin that the Elemental Cup was made from a polish horn of an Arc Dragon.
Riyu found a stone made of Dragon Ivory in the Wolf Clan's quarters and due to his connection with Kai, who had some of Riyu's scales, he was able to communicate with him from the Nether-Space. Nya manage to hear Kai through the stone but she couldn't directly talk to him until Riyu gave her of his dragon energy.
After obtaining the multitude of Elemental Powers, Nokt used these powers with the Dragon Ivory horns to open a portal to the Nether-Space. Later, after Riyu sparked her, Nya was able to use her connection to Kai to free both him and Bonzle.

- Elemental Power Absorption - Dragon Ivory has displayed the ability to attract and assimilate Elemental Energy and deconstruct it entirely until it is rendered entirely nonexistence.
- Elemental Power Augmentation - Dragon Ivory was stated to wield the ability to amplify and enhance natural Elemental Powers as displayed by the Matriarch of the Mountain Dragons once she sparked Lloyd's Energy with her dragon energy.
- Access to the Nether-Space - Dragon Ivory also enable wearers to the Nether-Space.
- Communication - Dragon Ivory also enable wearers to establish communication with the Nether-Space.
- Dimensio-Pyligenesis - When combined with a substantial amount of Elemental Powers or dragon energy, it enables a portal to the Nether Space to be opened.

- Dragon Ivory has similar effects to Chronosteel, but the difference is that Dragon Ivory can also attract or amplify powers.
- When asked about the differences in functionality between the Elemental Cup and the Dragonbone Blade, particularly why the Elemental Cup can fully harness Elemental Powers while the Dragonbone Blade merely attracts them, Chris "Doc" Wyatt explained that the fact they are both crafted from the same material does not imply they serve the same purpose.[3]
- According to Sora, Dragon Ivory has the potential to enhance one's strength, but it can also incite intense anger. A prevalent misconception in the Crossroads is that the Devonians prefer to incorporate Dragon Ivory into their meals for battle, even though it is actually suitable for anyone.[4]
- Dragon Ivory does not have the ability to trigger Oni Form.[5]
