Dragon Spinjitzu

Dragon Spinjitzu is a form of Spinjitzu that is influenced by the First Land, resulting from the Merge.[1] It consists having a dragon avatar swirling around the user's Spinjitzu tornado.

History

The Ultimate Object of Admiration[]

Lloyd unconsciously used Dragon Spinjitzu to attack Powerlid, something that Sora immediately noticed. Lloyd briefly used Dragon Spinjitzu again against the cyclops.

The Great Zane Robbery[]

Zane unconsciously used Dragon Spinjitzu in his narration of the events post-Merge to P.I.X.A.L.. Later, he used it to dodge the Freebooters, and subsequently fought against Nokt for the Red Prismatic Blade: first inside the prison train and later on its roof.

I Alone Can Save Them[]

When Zarkt was getting ready to use Shatterspin, Lloyd used Dragon Spinjitzu into Rising Dragon to counter it.

Chaos Unchained[]

After using the Monastery's portal gate to beat Drix to the First Land, Lloyd used Dragon Spinjitzu into Rising Dragon against Drix's Shatterspin. Kai also used Dragon Spinjitzu for the first time which allowed him to defeat three of Drix's Dragonian Warriors. Kai commented on the effect which Lloyd told him it is a First Land thing. While fighting Rox, Lloyd once again used Dragon Spinjitzu into Rising Dragon against Rox's Shatterspin, but lost the Blue Prismatic Blade.

The Shatter Dragon[]

After Thunderfang broke out of his prison, Lloyd, Nya, and Kai all preformed Dragon Spinjitzu to attack Thunderfang from all sides. Kai, Nya, and Lloyd used Dragon Spinjitzu into Rising Dragon to triple attack Thunderfang but it was no use and caused Thunderfang realized Lloyd was a Source Dragon conduit. Kai and Lloyd used Dragon Spinjitzu to attack Thunderfang again but he swat them both aside.

While fighting several Dragonian Warriors with the mercenary Rogue, Nya used Dragon Spinjitzu to fight the warriors.

  • Dragon Spinjitzu does not appear to have any practical differences compared to basic Spinjitzu.
  • These are the first spinners since Spinjitzu Slam to include a villain.
  • Prior to its introduction, the term "Dragon Spinjitzu" was initially coined by Wyldfyre, who regarded Rontu's Spinjitzu as Dragon Spinjitzu.
  • It is the third form of Spinjitzu that a ninja inadvertently performed before becoming aware of its existence, following Forbidden Spinjitzu and Object Spinjitzu.
  • In 71836 Arc Dragon of Focus, Drix's spinner uses the same LEGO parts as the Dragon Spinjitzu spinner; however, its intended representation is that of Shatterspin.[2]
  • Arin's Spinjitzu does not gain the dragon characteristics of the other ninja when performed in the First Land. This could possibly be due to the fact that his Spinjitzu is not elementally charged.
