History

History[]

Background[]

Millenia ago, Egalt, Kex'k Metalwing, and King Urd Leatherwing of the Northern Spiral, fought in the War of Oni and Dragon as part of the Dragon army. At some point, a former leader of the tribe, King Urd Leatherwing was trained in the art of of Spinjitzu by the First Spinjitzu Master himself. He later trained Ekesian Coldfang the Wise, who consequently taught the skill to the future Dragon Masters, Egalt and Rontu, the former also belonging to the tribe. Another accomplishment of Leatherwing was writing The Sagas of the Eternal Sources, a book that would later find its way to the Fengxian family. The Dragon Masters would band together and create the Rising Dragon technique to counter the Forbidden Five's Shatterspin, once the conquerors of the Wyldness were defeated, the two dragons banished the Five to the Nether-Space.

Dragons Rising, Season 2[]

Thousands of years later, after Lord Ras reunited the Wolf Clan, Lloyd was guided by his visions to seek out the Training plateau of the Dragon Masters. Once the ninja travelled to the dojo, they succesfully passed the three tests and were trained by the Dragon Masters, who were initially hesitant to help humans again before discovering Ras' plan to free the Forbidden Five. During the ninja's training, Arin had accidentally blinded one of Egalt's eyes, and was demoted. After Kai had unlocked Rising Dragon, the Blood Moon arose, and the Dragon Masters were turned to stone due to their curse. Thankfully, they returned back to normal after the Ritual of the Blood Moon.

After two members of the Forbidden Five escaped from Nether-Space, they targeted and murdered the current Patriarch of Northern the Spiral to steal his Crowns of Horns. After his demise, his child became the next Arc Dragon of Northern Spiral. Following this, Lloyd informed the Dragon Masters about this. Then he wanted them to be their master in the Tournament of the Sources, only for them to decline and say Lloyd should lead the ninja. When Lloyd said he is not a master, Egalt and Rontu attacked him. After he defeated them, the Dragon Masters proclaimed that he is ready to lead the ninja.

Dragons Rising, Season 3[]

In the following weeks after the Tournament of the Sources, Egalt's Wasting Sickness had progressed into the dragon's final stages. The ninja and the Dragons of the Northern Spiral had been invited to join him in his final moments. But only the ninja arrived in time to say goodbye. After talking with the ninja and saying his goodbyes to Rontu, he passed away and went to the Spectral Lands, where his soul was absorbed by Thunderfang.[4] Following the Battle of the Spectral Lands, Egalt's soul was released and he decided to stay in the Spectral Lands with Morro.

Dragons Rising, Season 4[]

As Rontu briefly passed away and went to the Spectral Lands, she was greeted by Egalt. Egalt told her that her time has not come and Riyu's life is important, saying that only she can show him the way. He then tells Rontu to never lose hope before the latter's souls leaves the Spectral Lands
