Born in the Never-Realm, Fritz lived in the village of the Formlings and found his animal form until a monster attacked it, causing him to get lost and eventually forgotten by his people. He stumbled upon the Land of Lost Things where he met a group of fellow runaways known as the Finders, and joined them making them his new family.
Dragons Rising, Season 1[]
They Call It Doom[]
As Nya and Sora landed in the Land of Lost Things, they noticed Fritz and Spitz watching them, and decided to follow them. Fritz and Spitz ran to Cole to protect them.
Land of Lost Things[]
After realizing Nya was a friend of Cole's, Fritz and Spitz introduced themselves. They hid in a giant noodle container from the Hoarder and returned to the Rookery.
When Dr. LaRow attacked, the Yellow Dragon Core was stolen, causing the Hoarder to appear. However, Sora realized that the creature was actually a Sweeper, a magnetic organism designed to clean Imperium sewers. Once Sora exposed Sweeper, Fritz threw a jar at Spitz, who caught it and easily captured the creature.

Trivia[]
- Fritz shares the same name as the Starfarer character portrayed by Cliff Gordon.
- According to Glen Lakin: "Fritz and Spitz love heroes, so Fritz named himself after the main character in an old Starfarer comic he found, and Spitz copied him and happens to have a drooling problem."[2]
