Thunderfang's release was an event in which the Forbidden Five released Thunderfang from his prison in exchange for more power. However, Thunderfang betrayed the five and consumed their souls, breaking free to wreck havoc on the First Land. Thunderfang would ultimately be defeated by Arin using healing elixir, releasing the souls of the Oni and sending the dragon to the Spectral Lands.
