Dragonian Trackers

Overview

“They look corrupted, maybe ancient magic. The Five must've come through the village after we did. Those poor Dragonians...”

The Dragonian Trackers[1] (also known as the Demon Dragonians[2][3][4]) are a battalion of Dragonian soldiers, consisting of Tyr and others who have been corrupted to serve the Forbidden Five, acting as their army in the pursuit of the Prismatic Blades.

During their corruption, some of the Dragonian Trackers died, causing them to become Spectral Dragonians.[5]

Dragons Rising, Season 3[]

Thunderfang struck a deal with the Forbidden Five, agreeing to a greater share of Chaos powers in exchange for freeing him. To facilitate their search for the Prismatic Blades, he presented them with a gem, suggesting that its chaotic energies could be harnessed against the Dragonians. Nokt shattered the gem, releasing a torrent of chaotic energy that surged through the very essence of Tyr and many other Dragonians. This unleashed chaos transformed them into savage warriors, serving the Forbidden Five in their pursuit of the Prismatic Blades.[6]

The Dragonian Trackers aided the Forbidden Five in their quest to locate the Prismatic Blades scattered across the Merged Realms. Some partnered with Nokt and Zarkt to successfully uncover the red and blue Prismatic Blades in the First Land, respectively. Additionally, they assisted Rox in retrieving the green Prismatic Blade from the algae farmers' village.[7] Their efforts also extended to Kur, who sought the yellow Prismatic Blade in the City of Temples. While they managed to secure the red, green, and yellow blades, their attempt to obtain the blue blade was thwarted by the interference of the ninja. Compounding their troubles, the yellow Prismatic Blade was already in pieces when Kur found it.[8] In a bid to restore it, Rox led a team of Dragonian Trackers to Djinjago, planning to have Arrakore use wish magic for the repair. However, Arrakore refused and attempted to escape, tricking Rox into wishing for the presence of the ninja—Nya, Sora, and Riyu. This decision led to catastrophic consequences for the Dragonian Trackers, as the ninja utilized their wishes to counter the Dragonians' efforts in various ways. Fortunately, Rox managed to compel Arrakore to fix the blade, but realizing they were outmatched, she and the Dragonian Trackers ultimately retreated from the confrontation.[9]

With only two of the Prismatic Blades left, Drix took a group of Dragonian Trackers to the World Forest in search of the Returning Blade, while he himself prepared to confront the ninja for the blue Prismatic Blade. Following Drix's command, the Dragonian Trackers engaged in battle with the ninja and successfully captured Ras.[10] Armed with the Prismatic Blades, they made their way to Thunderfang's prison, only to discover that the ninja had anticipated their arrival and reached the location first by using a portal gate. A battle erupted as the Dragonian Trackers fought the ninja for the last two blades. Although the Forbidden Five managed to obtain the last two blades necessary to free Thunderfang, the Chaos Dragon betrayed them by consuming their souls.[11] The Dragonian Trackers found themselves under Thunderfang's control while still fighting the ninja. However, the tide turned when Arin threw the healing elixir from the Well of the Lost at Thunderfang, ultimately killing him. This act not only ended Thunderfang's reign but also restored the corrupted Dragonians to their peaceful selves. In the aftermath, Tyr and the Dragonians expressed their remorse to the ninja for their actions.[12]
